Just arrived back. I have read previous reviews and have nothing but positive comments to make. This hotel in our view, is a real gem, authentic Greek style which means that you accept what you find. Okay you hold a shower whilst washing, no problem we managed. Our room was spotless and remained so throughout our stay and Lisa at the Pool bar was fabulous. Always on hand to give advice, always serving with a smile, always providing good food. The whole area was kept clean and tidy. Hotel staff exceptional from the ladies who cleaned our room, the bar staff, Theo himself. Wonderful warm people who try very very hard to keep their guests happy. We ate in the restaurant all the time, we had no need to go any further at night as the food was amazing. I had the special most nights and could not fault any of the food. I have read reports about breakfast being basic. Well we found it ample, cereal, fresh bread, butter, jam, coffee and tea plus orange juice. Also fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt (lovely). Ham and cheese every day, a toaster for those who wished to use it, what more do you want. Greek night on Saturday and quizz night Wednesday, good. We loved this hotel. I do not think we have ever stayed anywhere as friendly. The staff work so hard to maintain the atmosphere and will banter and have fun with you if you try. Learn some Greek whilst there I did, they are more than happy to help you. I cannot say anything more but we will return, not sure when, but we will return to see all the friends we made.
