Panoramic View

Summertime at last and this year our choice was another Aegean island, Naxos, the biggest of the Cyclades islands. We found the hotel on the internet and we booked for two weeks. First of all, its location is perfect. Just two minutes on foot from gorgeous Agios Prokopios sandy beach. Please note that the hotel location on Google for some inexplicable reason is wrong! It’s on the exact opposite side of the beach, which is actually much better and wider. So, it’s very conveniently located and there is a lot of parking space. Second, it’s really nice on the outside, two-story Cycladic style house. Third, it is pretty nice on the inside too. Our room was on the second floor. Spacious, two-area room, airy and bright, with one single bed and one double, a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a bathtub, it also included a mini fridge, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. The closet was big enough to fit all of our clothes and decoration was plain but pleasant. The biggest asset of the room was the balcony. It was big with wooden details, furniture, a drying horse and a great view. The owner, Eleni, was really very friendly and helpful. Naxos port and beautiful town – Chora – is just a 10-minute drive away and the busiest part of Agios Prokopios, where you can find plenty of restaurants and cafes, is only 10 minutes on foot. Overall, we had a great stay and I definitely recommend Panoramic View for those who love to be close to the beach. Also for its cleanliness, the amenities and of course the warmth and friendliness of the people. The rate was a little bit high, given no breakfast was included, but it’s not easy to find a decent hotel in such a busy island and on such a short notice at a better price.
