5 reviewsI am so glad I discovered Gibbs (after 14 years in Accra)! It is located off the Motorway Extension in Accra in North Dzorwulu. I found Gibbs by accident and I am pleased to say that the accommodation is basic but clean and minimal. Precisely as I like a lodging to be. All the staff, from the housekeeping boys, kitchen staff, reception staff and senior management are 'real' people who go to great lengths to please. My few days here have been calm and peaceful, given I need to be close to the motorway and have access to Kotoka airport and the city. Special mention go to Naomi, Fred, Solomon and Ebeneezer, in fact all the staff. Facilities are good. The split commercial area from the dormitory area merge well, but the large parking area, exceptionally clean Executive Room plus all the elements of the shower room are all in good order. Built by a grant (and expertise) from the People's Republic of China there are hallmarks of chinese equipment everywhere. I am extremely happy with my stay and would encourage other 'down to earth' lodgers, whether staying for business or pleasure to try a stay Gibbs. It is simple but excellent value for money. I shall return again and again.
