Calabash Green Executive Apartments

The level of hospitality I experienced during my two-week stay at the Calabash Green was way beyond what I expected. I have stayed in many guest houses around the globe, but I have never felt so much at home as I felt at Calabash. All the workers at this facility made me feel so special and as part of one lovely family. The caterer responsible for the breakfast services treated every guest with so much respect and accommodated my requests for service outside the designated time for breakfast without any complaints. The porter at the guest house was available to help in making the guests as comfortable as possible – running small errands, doing laundry, making quick runs to restaurants to buy food upon request. The front office had a few select taxi service providers to call when I needed transportation. I always felt very safe during my stay – besides the availability of security guards at the gate, the facility itself was very well protected. The availability of free WI-FI and cable TV services made life at Calabash very comfortable. Despite the frequent power outages in the city during my trip, the availability of standby generators served to ameliorate the pain. The facility and rooms were very clean. Just like the room, the closets and kitchen were equally big -- the kitchen was very well equipped and very functional. I highly recommend Calabash and will definitely stay there again during my next trip to Accra.
