Hotel Brauer

This hotel is not a four or five star but I give it a five star for the excellent and friendly service we received. We were on a excursion for a weekend. Everything included. The breakfast was continental, they supplied bags to pack a lunch. Also non alcoholic beverages to take along on trips. Dinner was included and absolutely five star quality. Alcoholic beverages included from 4 pm. The view from the veranda is very beautiful. Overlooking the river Moesel. Some of us said we could spend the whole day there. But we were on day trips in the area which were also beautiful. The hotel is owned by Dutch people who speak perfect English and other languages as well, My room was at the front of the hotel, the window gave a beautiful view of the river. It was a single's room, not big but good. Also had a bathroom with shower. A few complaints about the rooms at the back about the train which passes directly behind the hotel. I don't think it was too bad for noise at night especially if you keep the window closed. The free wifi works in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel if you don't expect Hilton or Holiday Inn. I certainly hope to return someday.
