I stayed at the hotel in December 2016, room 26. The room was good and clean though bathroom requires some renovation: shower was missing one of the walls, and it was hard to avoid water on the floor. I could hear the neighbors from the next room talking and coughing. When we came at around 11 pm the door was locked, ringing the bell did not help, I had to call them by phone a couple of times and the reception guy was not very friendly letting us in (though I specified late check-in time when booking).

The breakfast buffet was good, locked parking space available, no problems with internet connection and in the end a nice place to sleep.

Nice authentic hotel with some minor tweaks

Nice base for venturing into Nuremberg.  Clean, good value and accepts dogs.  Private parking in courtyard through set of doors on main road next to entrance and Hotel sign, we went straight past so watch for them.   Exit hotel turn right then 50m away bus stop then get 174 (definately) or 64 (might be 68, only sixty no on board) to Furth Hauptbahnhof, then train towards Lorenze and get iff at Lorenzkirchen.  There was only 2 of us but it seems a Family day ticket (purchased on bus for €11.50) is the cheapest and covers the return.  Xmas Market is fab.  Nice breakfast.

The only drawback: I would have liked a wider selection of dishes (we had only two menus to choose from), but excellent quality, excellent presentation.

Simple furnishings in the rooms, but clean and pleasant. Absolute surprise: the fantastic food in the restaurant. For hotel guests there is a menu whose price-performance ratio is unbeatable.

Little pearl, big surprise...

It's all there, everything very clean. The facility, however, is more like a children's/youthroom. Bathroom/toilet is tiny, not quite up to date. The restaurant we would have liked to try, but it was completely booked. The restaurant (also for breakfast) is very stylish/clad.

...and then I find this wonderful restaurant, highly recommended: the miniature menu: eight little aisles of excellent quality, an experience:

The non-smoking room smells extremely smoke - very disgusting! The carpet in the entrance area is rusty, otherwise everything here makes a clumsy impression. Due to the location, it is very loud, and also extremely bright. Fly after a night. Never again!!!

Smoking room stinks

We were at this hotel for a conference at the Nuremberg Fair. The location near the train station is very convenient. By train you can get right to the fair, perfect. The hotel was clean and warm, the room was very spacious. In the center of Nuremberg you would pay three times the price for a room of this quality. The owners are warm and professional, the service leaves nothing to be desired. We will come back to the fair every time!

It's a great hotel, for business trips and families.

we stayed in this hotel due to a conference in the Nuremberg messe. logistically it was so close to the furth train station which has a direct train to the messe and that was perfect. the hotel was clean and warm, and the toom space was ample. you will need to pay 3 times the price in Nuremberg town centre to get a room/hotel like this. The owners were warm and professional at the same time, and we could not ask for more. this is a hotel we will come back to each time for our bi-annual conference
