We were only at the Villa Ettel for dinner because of a recommendation. The restaurant is small and fine. The menu is small too, but the dishes are fine and tasty. We were really positively surprised! The service was very attentive and friendly! We felt very comfortable here!

Small card, but very delicious food

Hotel for family and Business events. Large rooms with modern funiture and equipment. Very good coffee and cakes. Very friendly staff and good prices. Closly located to the lake Schwielowsee and to the health resort.



Friendly Hotel with Restaurant 

We spent two nights in the beautiful hotel. But the room was very small and the bathroom was still small. The price of about 95.00 EUR/night including breakfast is, just in the off-season, completely inappropriate for this, I'm sorry, furnished GDR pension. On the evening of arrival we were asked if we wanted to have breakfast before 9:30 or after. We decided for after half past 9:30 or after 10:30. When we finally arrived at breakfast around 10:30 this was already on the table for about an hour. Sekt and soup had already been ordered. There was a nice thought to be - without question - a nice-style, short-style breakfast, but I would have gotten a quick breakfast if the service was in the house, but if the service was done well and the food was not ordered, then this would have been done well in the kitchen and the kitchen.

Overpriced hotel prices

Our stay lasted 3 days. The villa is very lovingly decorated and decorated. The owner of the house is extremely nice and can tell a lot about the area. The breakfast is given by us 5 stars - rarely a great breakfast. Our room was under the roof, large and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom is unfortunately given a disadvantage - it could need a renovation - and please do not have half-full bottles of soap. The next time we come on holiday, we bring bicycles. Then they are thermal baths, the humid lake and the surrounding area to explore better. We had a relaxing holiday in the villa Ettel.

It's a beautiful house.

PIFFERING TIME: We wanted to go out to dinner with our family on Sunday night. So I went to book the table, so I went to clear it up. Do you have a PIFFERING? Yes, enough. Then we'd like to book a table. For 10 people. Answer: I don't. Perplexity question: Why? Answer: I don't. At least a plausible answer would have been nice.

I do not (guests are not welcome)

The restaurant was open from 5:00 p.m. and we were the first guests at about 5:30. At our request, the waiter explained that we were too early. We were still able to order food and were rewarded with a very delicious pizza. The service was very reserved and people felt that we were unwanted. The restaurant was nicely furnished and the outdoor area was invited to stay.

Dinner

Summer, sunshine, empty terrace, always a bad sign. But we sat down and learned the reason for this, which the locals probably know for a long time. There was no waiter. I went in and ordered two beers. They came too, but there was no menu. After the glasses were long empty, I went back in and paid. Goodbye forever!

Guests aren't welcome, are they?

We went with friends. The location looks quite nice and so was the service and the menu. 
When we tried to order we were told that the ordered beer was not available. We asked for a Rum that was in the menu, same answer. 
The food was the next disappointment, taste was mixed with ingredients that did not belong on it. Answer was that the cook likes to create always something unique. Well, fine excuse. 
Wouldn't recommend the location. 

Overrated

Spent a night here after a business trip to Berlin on my way back to Budapest. The cuisine is extra ordinary, decent selection of wines, but the location itself is what really distinguished this Hotel. I am sure to spend some more nights here :)
