67 reviewsWe were looking for a romantic weekend away and found Forellenhof which is located in the middle of nowhere in the Sauerland in Germany. The location is very remote and quiet and rather beautiful. The hotel is clean, cosy and the service is excellent. The restaurant is just fabulous and the hosts are great. From here you can walk in the bison park not far away or visit Schmallenberg, the pearl of the Sauerland. Book a table in the restaurant - it is absolutely worth it. We will come again!
