The hostess, very tasty homemade breakfasts (all homemade - cheese, baking, jams, spilt oil, meat and other things). It was very tasty, and plenty! The best room - warm, spacious, there's everything you need for a full rest! Clean bedding and white towels, all dishes, furniture, with hot/cold water was no problem. The view from the windows was just amazing! We slept well. And when you wake up in the morning, and you smell the snacks... Mmm... Mmm! I recommend that you dream about living here in the summer period!

We're hoping to get back here this summer!

We booked this place because of a few positive reviews and the high rating on Booking.com however it was very misleading. Booking.com lists all the amenities that are available but this place was lacking in many things that were essential to our stay (breakfast, dinner, hair dryer, tea/coffee, cloths drying rack, functioning washing machine, tv in the room, soap, bath towels). We tried many times to show and explain that we needed the above items but because the host doesn't speak any English, we couldn't attain them. I tried using Google translate but she kept shaking her head. We booked the two bed apartment suite which was beautiful, no doubt, but our overall experience was terrible. The host doesn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate. We only got breakfast the first day (and it was nice!) but I dont know why she didn't give us food the next few days. We had booked a dinner our second night but when we came downstairs and asked about it, she literally shooed us away with her hand. We tried to communicate with her daughter to understand what went wrong but couldn't. 
The place is very difficult to find as Google map doesn't give the correct location. there is a lot of mud, construction, and ditches on the road so you have to park your car far away. There are no street lights on the road and the host doesn't keep her porch light on so be careful at night time as visibility is very low. 
Location  was advertised as 250m to the city center but it's a good 15 minute walk to the center- which is difficult on the way back (it's an up hill battle!).
It's really not fair if you say you will provide things and then you don't. And then when we ask about them, or ask about an alternative, we are treated with harshness and made to feel unwelcome. On our last night, I confirmed with her daughter who speaks a bit of English, that we will eat breakfast at 8:30am and then check out right away. The next morning, 8:30 on the dot, we come down for breakfast and the host tells us to come back an hour later. We saw another family being served breakfast and saw that there was plenty of food on the counter but we don't know why she wouldn't welcome us to eat. It was very upsetting for us. My kids couldn't understand why the host was refusing to share and neither could we. My husband, who is a generous man and always sees the positive in every situation, couldn't fathom why the host was being so rude. 
All in all, we would not recommend this place to others.

Bad experience

We arrived at the accommodation, but there was no one there. The hostess didn't answer the phone for a long time, and when she answered, she said that there was no one at home and there wouldn't be anyone. Because she was in Tbilisi. And she offered to find herself a place in the village where we stayed. And that's when we booked at Booking for a month!!! And without the possibility of cancelling a booking for free!! And that's when a couple of days before settling I was mailing the owners and learning about the possibility of parking next to the apartments because the whole village is under road repair. As a result we lost a lot of money on the internet roaming and time.

I wouldn't recommend this place.

I've had the pleasure of staying here twice, the first and last night was in this place, there was a room for four, I'll be honest, it's just a Soviet living room, but what kind of beds, what kind of air... And hospitality and a cake for breakfast, sticking in my mouth... Just for those memories, I'm ready to go back. But I won't give in to the emotions and feelings, dry and business. All decent cafes are in the center - 10-15 minutes on foot, a changing room and a market there.

Best gest hous in kazbegi. Nice place end very frendly owne. Like at home. I recomend to all to visite this place. Price is not so aqspensiv like in ather gest houses. So 5 stars from 5!!!!! Also it near from center, very qwite end relex plase.

I wanted to say a big thank you to the hostess, for the warm reception, the spirit and the generosity. The snack was very tasty. Then I even asked for a master class and now I cook the snacks myself. From the steppespinda we went hiking in the goudauri for us it was close and interesting on the way to the gorgeous mountains you would like to walk through them. Near the mountain of Kazbeggi and the temple at 1000 m high where a welcoming priest gave us candy and wine. Georgia became our love, go in winter now we want to go in summer. I recommend everyone to take this guest house.

Hospitality on high!

We were traveling (young slovak couple) in Georgia and stopped for 3 days in Stepantsminda and booked Dachi Inn in advance. The owner gave us a key from our room and was very kind. She is having cute twins. She offered us both times a breakfast so we could have felt the local atmosphere. Although she doesn't speak English, we could manage to communicate. It's located close to the centre (Stepantsminda's centre is very small :), has WIFI. It was clean, nice bathroom. We recommend to visit a Hiking centre, "5047 restaurant" (a bit hipster; full of international tourist so you can chat easily) and to hike on the top of the nearest mountain where's the church and a very nice view.

This is the same Georgia that holds on to friendly, kind, bread-loving people)) Beautiful housekeeper Picria. Very friendly. The tastiest and cheapest dinners that she herself cooks, especially we all liked lobbies and roasted cabbage pies. Simple and spacious rooms match the price. This is a very simple and very soulful occasion.

A spacious, modest, and welcoming home

- Nice place, hospitable hostess, excellent interlocutor. - Close to the bus stop. - High ceilings, big rooms. - But take the bearings, because soundproofing is not very good.
