B&B HOTEL Le Mans Nord 1

The hotel was easy to find, and had good parking. The reception area was well laid out with access to food and drink vending machines. The room was immaculate, and the bed very comfortable. The en-suite facility was excellent.The reception and other staff were helpful and pleasant. A nearby Italian restaurant was great.

A step back to pre Covid stays which we always enjoyed. We we a little late down to breakfast but all except the bacan and scrambled eggs was in plentiful supply. Staff were all very efficient and friendly.

Had trepidation from previous reviews. But was unfounded. The hotel had obviously been refurbished recently. Clean room, comfy bed and spacious shower. Reasonably priced vending in reception was a bonus. The whole area around the hotel is shopping, countless restaurants and other hotels, with easy access to visit anywhere by car. Highly recommend this B&B hotel, hopefully they refurbish others to the same standard.

These hotels are good value for overnight stays, rooms are clean with large firm beds which we like.  Rooms are small but serve their purpose, bathroom has shower facility.  Breakfast continental style, with bacon and scrambled eggs.

B&B Hotel Le Mans Nord 1 is a consistently clean, good value for money comfortable and cheap hotel in the Pays de La Loire. It is near the A11 motorway and Le Mans city centre, as well as the A81 and A28. Breakfasts are continental self service.  We use them regularly and cannot fault them.

On our holiday this year we stayed at three BB hotels and it is becoming obvious that the overall standards cannot be guaranteed. At BB 1 we were warmly welcomed as before and the hotel was clean and all up to the standards expected.

We arrived late, thee was someone to welcome us. The car park was locked so we felt safe leaving our car that was loaded with cases etc. The breakfast in the morning was a bit sparse, no fruit etc...., but the staff were lovely and there was an amazing sunrise to watch as we ate!

The best option available for a weekend at the races. Not central and no elevator and expensive, but serviceable.

Really good just the breakfast room was a little cramped

My husband had booked a room online at a reduced rate.  On arrival the receptionist couldn't find our reservation.  She was so helpful, first ringing the other B&B hotel in Le Mans - no we weren't booked in there either.  She booked us in at the advantageous rate my husband thought he had booked on his mobile while we were travelling.  Nothing was too much trouble - first class.  Our room was comfortable including the bed and bedding.  The wardrobe was large enough for two with proper hangers.  The only downside to the place, you can hear people talking in the next room and closing of doors.

What a breath of fresh air!

We were looking for an overnight room on the day we were travelling to Paris from the Vendée and found one at this hotel at a very reasonable price indeed just off the A11 motorway. The car park was large and secure. Yes, the room was small and there was no lift but the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable (if a little hard) and the bathroom basic but provided all you need. The staff are really lovely and welcoming and at breakfast the lady in charge offered to make us fresh bacon and eggs. There was a good choice of things to eat at the breakfast buffet. Certainly not a hotel where we'd want to stay for a holiday but excellent for an overnight stay when you're travelling. No doubt we'll be back! Another plus was the 2 minute walk to a nice restaurant for dinner!

Excellent value for money!

arrive early hours and let in to secure parking area. Staff were friendly and room was clean if a little basic.
Showers were nice and hot and toilets clean.
Wash basin in room for cleaning teeth/shaving.
All in all good value for money and a massive advantage being able to check in in middle of night.

Value for money

Located on an industrial estate, together with 6 other hotels.Local restaurant was expensive and didnt have a menu in English and made no effort to help at all. A short drive away was a collection of better places to eat and drink from Mcdonalds, KFC and a selection of other medium priced restaurants.

OK for an overnight stop en route to Spain.

Spot on, almost

Everything was good, apart from the fact that when I came out in the morning walking to my vehicle, I noticed 3 or 4 cars/vans had been broken into. Fortunately for me I hadn’t been but felt sorry for the people that had. The car park is well lit too.
