Classic "gite" (French farm) with a couple of separate houses and a central lawn and playground. Horses. Apples. Hay. Guy is an engaged host, with many interesting stories! Bring towels and air out the rooms, it can get a little musty. The farm is on one of the 7 historic paths that pilgrims took to Mont St. Michel, there's a salmon-bearing stream and little village a little ways along the path. You will want a road bike or car to get to Caen and the beaches.
