Amicalement Hôte

Hote Amicalement is a wonderful place in the heart of trendy Chartrons. Beautifully decorated and designed rooms run by the wonderful and very welcoming Patricia, In easy walking distance of the town centre and close to  good restaurants, bars and shops. A superb place and a great venue for a stay in Bordeaux.

We stayed at this B&B last weekend, Patricia and family were wonderful hosts made us feel very welcome, they suggested great places to visit, and even made reservations for us at a local restaurant.  The room was super clean and very nice.  Great location, lovely continental breakfast.  Would highly recommend.

This place only has two rooms but it's very well located as you are within easy walking distance of both the B and C trams. You can also walk into the town centre quite easily. It's in a very nice neighbourhood - Rue Notre Dame has some interesting shops and restaurants and there is a market square nearby with a lot of restaurants where you can sit outside. We were given a very friendly welcome by the owners who invited us into their apartment and gave us lots of information on places to see in Bordeaux. Breakfast was left outside the room at an agreed time and it was very good. There is also a Nespresso machine and kettle in the room. Both rooms share an outside area where you can go outside to sit. However, if you don't know the people in the other room you could find yourself in an embarrassing situation as the outside area looks directly into both rooms so you'd need to keep the curtains closed if you want privacy. The other downside was that there was occasionally a strange smell in the room. We mentioned it to the owners who said they knew about it and had tried to investigate it without success. They said that it was a general problem in the area. It was only occasional though.

They only have a couple of rooms here. Lovely and quiet, fantastic area. Very contemporary rooms with good facilities. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess was delightful (despite some language barriers!). I really recommend

Loved this little place

The things missing from amicalement hôte are amicale and hôte.  Smell of toilets in the room. No natural light. No heating control in the room . No breakfast delivered on second day , had to send a text to track down the invisible hôte
