Excellent location on the edge of the old town but close to the port itself meaning no climbing up to get back after a night out or a long day at the beach. Friendly warm and welcoming hosts. Ivo and his father were charming and helpful. Staff in the pizzeria are often your point of contact and were available and helpful when needed. Room itself is clean and tidy and organised. It contains all you need for a short trip and the kitchen is furnished enough for self catering (although a cheap microwave would have been appreciated). Bed was comfy and a massive size (or it felt it for me as a solo traveller). Towels etc. supplied on your request and cleaning whilst not completed routinely was on request to a high standard. Wifi worked consistently throughout my stay. View of the port was stunning and I spent many afternoons eating reading and relaxing on the sofa by the window which was the main purpose of my trip. One and only negative to be honest is the noise from the successful pizzeria below. Regularly loud until midnight and at weekends later. In my opinion the air conditioner is positioned in a poor location and it would be better served in the sleeping/living area. Overall Apartments Donev offer clean self contained apartments in an ideal location. Nothing is too much trouble and the accommodation is more than suitable for anything from a solo traveller to a family or group of friends.
