Pickalbatros Royal Moderna Sharm & Aqua Park

Stayed here from 24/06/25 - 8/7/25 upon check in we were given a lovely room which was 3338 however this was on third floor which was not good having a child with us so next day we were moved to room 1120 which was a bit of a down grade but was in a perfect spot with pool view, close to restaurant, bars and beach. Would like to give a big shout out to our room cleaner who did a lovely job and the towel art he did every day made my son’s day not sure of his name. Restaurants were lovely as well lots to choose from with a number of restaurants that you just walk in to, the fish restaurant was really lovely as well as the Egyptian one. Bars staff at this hotel are really friendly and nice to, would like to give a big shout to Walid from the main pool bar who always made sure we were topped up with drinks and was very friendly, another big shout out to the bars manager Sabry who made sure everything was ok and made sure we had what we needed was lovely to meet you. Entertainment at this hotel in evening is not great compared to most hotels I have stayed in they have the same dance show every night at 9pm and then an animation shoot which only last 30 mins sometime they would have mr or miss hotel which later only 2 games rounds and by 10pm it was music off and lights out big improvement is needed here especially when the hotels next door have there entertainment going till at 11-12 in evening. Days time entertainment was good especially the pool parties and the kids carnival with the band they also did a white party every Sunday which lasted 30 minutes. They did a number of activities during the day if you are in to that sort of stuff. Special shout out to Kara from animation who always made an effort to speak us she was the only one who would hold a conversation every one else seemed more interested in the Russian guests. Actives for kids is good too they had mini golf which was free of charge, table tennis, pool in the sports bar which was free, on a Thursdays they have an acrobatic show at the beach bar for kids which was good, and pizza party on a Monday at the snack bar. Overall we had a lovely 2 weeks and would recommend this hotel, fair to say we have already booked for next year.
