If you're looking for something comfortable and with a colonial architecture, this place is the place to go, as its decoration was very ornate and pleasant, the food tastes good, although the negative points were slightly in the area of food and service that was good but can improve, on the other hand the rooms were median and had a mini bar everything was in order and clean.

A very good place to stay, a good night's sleep in a place with a lot of history, I like the whole layout of the place, but the restaurant area is also very good and needs to be improved in the customer service of certain workers.

My experience here has been regular, the place is beautiful, highlights its old style and is in the center of the city, however, the customer service could be improved, the rooms are not so spacious and I do not recommend it if you go with children or with a group of friends, as it is a place that has standards for maintaining tranquility and silence during your stay in the establishment.

My stay in this place was pleasant as its colonial-era structure was very beautiful and striking, the food tasted good, I suggest that service providers take a little more care in their food and service.

My stay at the Hostal La Orquídea was pleasant, a beautiful place, with a colonial architecture, full of charm, the staff of the establishment was always attentive to the guests, the lunch and breakfast at the place counted on fresh ingredients and in good condition, counted on good weather. As for the rooms, they were clean, counted on wifi and TV. Each room had a private bathroom, the shower water was hot, in addition to that the bathroom space was spacious, had a large mirror in the bathroom, each guest counted on a towel and amenities in the establishment each guest gave us shampoo and soap.

It is a marvelous story.

They had a very welcoming quality service, they were attentive to everything, they were able to solve a detail with an extra bed in the room. I would definitely stay there again, it became my new home in Cuenca. I took this opportunity to congratulate Carlos and Viviana they are very attentive and helpful all the time.

Good location very close to Abdon Calderon Park and the cathedral, good service, adequate rooms, pleasant staff the right price for service and the characteristics of the recommended hotel, sure to return when you go to the pool.

Well: - good location - the kindness and sympathy of the team Not very nice · - There is a little lack of lighting in my room - too dark - the hot water takes a little while to arrive, which causes a lot of water waste - you can hear everything from room to room; it should improve the acoustic insulation.

Basic, noisy room (on a sidewalk), the fridge in the room is noisy all night long... for the price, the room is not up to par. Basic lunch, nothing more. Too bad the fruit juice is prepared with tap water, we couldn't taste it... nevertheless, the staff is very nice.

Very poor quality/price ratio

Despite the pleasant and available staff, our night at the hotel was bad. We had a room on the side of the street and we barely slept at night because of cars passing by, horns, etc. And yet it was on weekdays! The noise from the refrigerator that prevented us from sleeping... we had to unplug it! Otherwise the whole hotel is clean, quite bright and pretty.
