This hotel has many positive reasons to stay. Firstly the overall price is really good. We traveled as a family 2 adults and 2 children 10, 9. December 28-30th..Total 8,000 Kc...The first thing is the free parking and the accessibility to the front door when unloading skis, helmets, boots, luggage, etc...Then immediately upon entry into the reception area, the ski room is 2 steps away from the front door no going downstairs to the basement to store your stuff that's a plus. The front desk staff were always helpful towards me and they offered good suggestion about ski areas and activities. The smaller ski slope is 50 meters from the hotel, but if I want to try Studenov that is a 2 minute car ride up the hill and then ski back down to the hotel or take the tow ropes from the small lifts to the top of the hill and ski at the Studenov resort. Rohytnice ski area is 5 minutes by car and , remember to get there early for the nearest parking lot, after that one fills up you will have to park farther away and walk about 200 meters with your gear. Rooms: We had 2 adjoining rooms with a common door. The kids loved it they felt like grown ups and we had some privacy. Two bathrooms in the morning was nice to have too. The rooms are not completely new or modern but we were there to ski and enjoy the outdoors not sit in the room. Restaurant: We had the half board package and the food was really good, they gave us 3 options to choose from and then desert. The drinks were good, I had the Gambrinus and my partner had the red wine. The service was adequate but we were in vacation mode not in real big hurry. Basement fun: The kids liked the pin ball machine it offers many different variations to play the electronic pin ball.My son came in first place and his name was on top ;-)) Bowling was just OK the electronic positioning sensors could be adjusted a little for a more accurate reading of the ball position. Foosball as always is are fun activity. Girls against the boys, 30 Czech Crowns per game. Service was good and the wine and beer were the same as in the restaurant. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I will return in the future.
