I loved this place, so clean and fresh up in the mountains. It's great if you speak Czech, German or Russian but there are few who speak English. Hotel food is basic but good and the facilities are fine, except the bar closes too early ;) This is a health spa not a nightclub town so there's not much nightlife but quite a few good restaurants and even an Irish Pub ! The old architecture, unspoiled by modern building leaves one with a sense of being in a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, free as a child without a care. Mineral water is everywhere, different springs with different tastes and cafes with cakes to die for. Whilst meandering through the park in a state of bliss one can imagine meeting the ghosts of the past such as Kings and Kaisers, Dukes and Duchesses as well as the myriad of famous people such as Maxim Gorki, Edward the VII, Goethe and Steve Ralls. Do yourself a favour and go there !!
