Philippou Beach Villas & Apartments

We used to live in an apartment for 2 years back in 1993 - 1995 (21 years ago) that was owned by the same family who own these apartments. They were in Oroklini village itself and we have kept on saying "we must go back" but never have until this year. We contacted Philippou in person and it was as if we had spoken to him a couple of minutes previous instead of the reality of 21 years previous! Philippos is one very rare gentlemen who is honest and 100% totally reliable, he states what he can and can't do and he goes the extra mile to ensure his customers needs are met. We were given a choice of properties all along the Larnaca /Dhekelia Road and we chose the 3 bed room town house it was 25mts from the beach. Which meant every morning we swam in the fabulous clean warm water for an hour. Then it was back to our rented house where we utilised the outside shower at the rear of the property to rinse the salt and sand off and dried off in complete privacy. We then able to sit on the balcony for breakfast of locally sourced fruit and fresh Halloumi on fresh local tomatoes. The kitchen and utensils provided are more than adequate to host a dinner party as is the outside barbecue, which is of a typical family size Cypriot barbecue construction great to cook on. We used the washing machine enabling us to go home with clean clothes. The 3 bedrooms are all excellent size with enough storage and great air conditioning which works superb. The bathroom is of a good size and the shower was what is required a good strong flow of water. The location of all the Philippou Apartments is an excellent location easy for buses in to Larnaca and beyond - 50mts from the gate. However, one can hire a car locally and because the main gate to the complex is secure it means your hire car is also safe on its own driveway big enough for an 4X4 SUV vehicle. There are a number of small but adequately stocked supermarkets to stock your cupboards up with or you can drive 10 minutes in to Larnaca to shop at the hyper market as well as the street market.
