Apartments Viskovic Margita

After much trawling of various sites my husband and I decided that this would be an ideal place to stay in Hvar when we visited in June this year. I must confess that I wonder if we had made the right decision as the taxi drive which took us from the harbour to the apartment seemed to go on and on. However once we arrived and we found our bearings my initial concern was overcome. That said it is not the nearest of locations to the main hub of Hvar but that is no bad thing and my husband and I enjoyed our normally twice daily walks to and from the centre. As there are so few reviews on TA I was worried what we might find but my concerns were again groundless. Turning to our apartment this was on the ground floor and was faultless. This is a one bedroom apartment with a spacious terrace, which was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and a delighful bedroom. The safe which was provided was most welcome. As other reviews say Margarita and her husband were very friendly hosts and just the way you would want your hosts to be - unobtrusive but helpful (Margarita pointeds me in the right direction when I had to find somewhere to go for medical treatment with a nasty insect bite and a was also reassuring about it). Her husband also took us to the harbour the day we were leaving. All in all a great stay in every respect and I can most definitely recommend. PS If you are looking for the hairdryer I eventually found it in the basket of toilet rolls in the bathroom!
