25 reviewsThere are both a 3 star hotel and 2 star hostel within the same building, so the first thing is not to confuse the two. I chose the hostel (with shared washing and toilet facilities) to keep down my budget. The hostel is very well run: the shared facilities and rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and approachable. There are two kitchens with fridges, for keeping and cooking food, plus a TV room. It's a hostel, so no TVs in the actual rooms, but the wifi is excellent. The historic centre of Split is a 15-20 minute walk away, and the first time I had to ask directions a few times. I actually enjoyed walking through some of the "real" city.
