Pension Plitvice Dream

Clean, welcoming and well located for access to entrance 2 of the National Park. Bus stop, restaurant and small supermarket nearby. The host was friendly and helpful, had some great advice she was willing to share. Great for a short stay!

Welcoming budget accommodation

The place is in a good position to the park, but it's quite hard to reach from the bus stop, make sure to have the owner's telephon number. The room was a bit cold but very cosy and comfortable. The wifi didn't work! The landlady was very friendly and kind, We appreciated her tips.

This location did not live up to our expectations!  The owner was hospitable but did not appear to understand the basic principles of 21st century comfort.  

Our room in the eaves was cold as there appeared to be no insulation and despite the outside temp dropping to 9c there was no suggestion of heating!  

The room lacked the advertised amenities: no aircon, no TV, no toiletries. The towels were miniscule and the bathroom so small it was almost impossible to shave.  No air extraction so steam everywhere!

Bedding poor: impossible to tuck the sheets in. Our double bed was 2 singles joined which guaranteed pain between the two!

Breakfast at 50 kuna was not expensive but the quality matched the price. Coffee was tinned Nescafë! Awful!! Matched only by the lack of choice - hardboiled egg, cheap jam and poor bread.

Having given all this negativity the owner gave us excellent advice about visiting the park and there is a cheap but OK restaurant in walking distance.  

I guess it was just a place locked in the past with apparently no understanding that consumer needs have changed.


Not Good

We had difficulty finding the place as called different on the signs. Hosts were extremely rude and changed the price of the room and what it came with in comparison to the booking through booking.com. We decided to leave and not give them our money.
