The hotel would actually have the perfect location, at the end of the bay, right by the sea. It's just falling apart more and more, everything's terrible. When there's no emergency power and no working fan, you don't sleep for a minute. Shame, the location would be perfect - so it's a shame.

This place is really nice, four or five meters from the ocean, I stayed here with my girlfriend for four nights, we took a couple with a private bathroom and air conditioning with a view directly to the bay below.

There is no atmosphere so its very good if you are looking for quiet and privacy. 
The staff is freandly but dont expect too much service ( like apartment) most of the time front door is locked so be ready to wait some time.  
We stayed 4 nights.

   

Best view in taganga

The reception/entrance is extremely dirty and gives you the feeling that the whole hotel is like this too. Unfortunately. We were in the top room (room 13), and as far as I could judge we were the only guests. 150 Colombian dollars per person. So the view is really hammered at the room. Unfortunately the air conditioning was a little weak, and it was not possible to set it up. After 1h air conditioning it becomes comfortable at night and when someone wakes up at night it's even a little cold. But unfortunately it doesn't help us much during the day. Unfortunately the floor was sandy. We cleaned the room ourselves. then no one came for 4 days. (There was no one for 3 octaves) first balcony shower machines:D What with a hanging bed, so beautiful! Unfortunately, late to bed. And because a bathroom would be a little less expensive, unfortunately, but I would like to go over there and spend a little less money on it.

Room 13, nice, but a little warm.

Not only did the boss raise his price during his stay, without warning, but in addition to the clothes and money were stolen from me! Money in the piece is saying'security', and clothes in our room. The boss and his wife pretend not to know anything, while I see here comments that report these thefts since at least 2011! Nothing has changed. Only the situation is fine but the hotel is vintage, unmaintained, noisy, and poorly cleaned; the staff is underpaid according to what is said in the village, which, among other things, explains the thefts.

We stayed in a family-friendly apartment in Dec. 2015.The reception and other facilities are very poor.There is a lack of hygiene in all facilities.There is no TV in the room.The sheets and towels are rotten.It is on a fourth floor equivalent to 5 or 6.It is not recommended for older people or with some knee problems because the stairs are very steep.The price of $150,000 per person seems expensive given the poor condition of the mattresses and pillows, the location is fabulous and the views of the Bahia are beautiful from the terrace.The restaurant is quite slender.

 inefficiency and lack of hygiene

My friend and I stayed at Casablanca hostel on October 2008. We took the room on the highest floor and the view was superb. Except for that the hostel was average. No a/c just fan. The toilet and shower was ok for hostel. Value for money and I will tell my friends to stay there if they want to save money and get very good view.

Good view 

I've had a very good stay in this little rustic hotel (it would require some work) the boss is nice and I didn't have any trouble stealing (I just read the comment from a H) at the entrance to the hotel Teresa makes you a simple and delicious kitchen for cheap (compared to the neighborhood restaurants) and you're happy to have the conversation If you're not partying the night is pretty noisy (the day is also noisy elsewhere) the Colombians love the music very loud.... but a hardly forgotten door to the closed room it's quite affordable... the price is a little expensive but we pay for the pleasant view.

Beautiful view of Taganga Bay

The balconies to the sea are the best. It has a Mediterranean atmosphere. For a good beach, a good place to stay. The rooms are spacious, there are hammocks and tremendous balconies.

Casa Blanca is a beautiful and comfortable place just a few meters from the beach.

Found this place by walking on the beach, couldn't have hoped for better! Sure the building is a bit run down, but personally I don't travel to enjoy fresh paint of the rooms or fancy bed spreads. The place was clean, everything functional, and by far the most spectacular view of Taganga bay you could hope for. The staff were friendly and helpful, absolutely nothing to complain about. I hope to return!
