14 reviewsI spent two nights (May 21 & 22, 2018) at the Lijiang Best Li Hotel. I found the hotel to be impressive for China: clean, luxurious & well appointed. With a unique design, with rooms around a central multi-level courtyard, it felt like one was staying in a prestigious Chinese hotel. Staff were very courteous and efficient. I stayed in room B203, featuring a king size bed & large bathroom, with soaker tub & separate shower. All towels, linens & pillows were of good quality. I found my room to be very quiet & comfortable. My room rate included the breakfast buffet in their restaurant (sorry, but no Western food options were available & the buffet was “average” at best). Cigarette and cigar smoking was permitted in common areas, which is quite usual in China. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the Lijiang Beat Li Hotel. I give it a score of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the Lijiang Best Li Hotel if you are in Lijiang and looking to stay in a cool character hotel.
