Arriving from a Yangtze Cruise, take the number 1 or 9 bus from the Jin Ma Tou (nine port) area, - its the road parallel to the one closest to the river - towards the East Railway Station (keep the river on your right). When the bus turns left onto Jucheng Lu get off at the first stop, you'll find the Yijin Hotel on the right hand side. Alternatively, continue until the East Railway Station and then leaving the station to your back, go through the underpass, taking the left hand side of the road and walk down for around 20-25 minutes, Yijin will be on your left. They have a great sheet at check in (see photo) with lots of relevant phrases (including details on leaving the deposit). Nice outdoor seating area at the back, good comfortable, excellent rooms. Very comfortable beds, a proper shower cubicle with lashings of hot water. Toiletries, good towels. Great aircon, TV. Just really, really awful internet access. Can't fault them apart from that.
