I've been to Cabanas pacifico last December for the second time and it's been a great experience to begin the new year close to the beach "Playa Amarilla" -well known by the awesome new year's fireworks. The cabanas are perfectly equipped for 4 people with all amenities, including wifi, cable tv, pool, etc. They are reasonably priced too (around 85USD daily per cabana) I invited some friends for a barbecue (they have grills too) and we had a great time. The owners were super helpful, the place is quiet and perfectly safe (including indoor parking). ConCon is a 15 minute ride (car -add 10 more via public transportation) to Vina del Mar. The cabanas website, although in Spanish, is pretty easy to browse and it has good pics -better than mine for sure. www.cabanaspacifico.cl I definitely plan to go back to enjoy Chilean summer again!
