Cheryl and George have created a stunning home away from home for guests, and the house is immaculate. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home - it really is like being welcomed into their home to stay with them - not as merely someone staying separately from them. We were welcomed with a glass of wine and - because we arrived a little late our delicious appetizers were postponed until the evening after - with another lovely glass of local wine. Both times Cheryl and George sat with us and discussed the local area, politics, travel and life in general! George made a delicious breakfast every day, which was taken on the veranda with them and other guests. Fresh juices made in house and a choice of tea and coffee including their own blend of chamomile. The location is excellent with a stunning view across the lake. The veranda is a sunny spot with comfortable chairs to sit and read or while away the time with some local wine. Near to a couple of vineyards, and within easy reach of others in Summerland and the wider Okanagan region. Extremely comfortable bedroom with a large bathroom, with everything though of down to spare toiletries. A very relaxing place which we'd love to return to.
