Great value! Terrific location! V clean & quiet. Plus produce stand next door has a cappuccino bar that opens at 7:30 on Sunday! Surprised by the well kitted out kitchen too! Wasn’t expecting that! And my dog is happy! If you are a foodie & wine lover in this spectacular part of Canada, Elks motel is a fine, inexpensive option to lay your head!

Good value- v clean in Keremeos

Clean room, very good service, our request for a room close to the parking area for our Jeep, Aliner trailer and kayaks was granted. Nearby vegetable and fruit market was where we decided to gather our food for breakfast.

We stayed for one night in the fall, and there were a few other cars in the parking lot, but definitely this was not the busy season.  Perhaps that's the reason why for the shoddy cleaning job, as the room smelt of deodorizer, but it was covering a very unpleasant mildew smell that increased throughout the night.  There were also flies in the room - but the temperature outside was single digits... not sure when the flies came into the room (and bred???).  Overall, just felt unclean and uncomfortable.  Would not recommend.

We stay overnight, it was a nice surprise to find a newly renovated room, clean and confortable.  Even more delightful in the morning with the beautiful sight of the mountains. The Motel is surrounded by orchards, it was an enjoyable short stay.

spent one night in the spacious room, very clean,plenty of hot water for the shower, we enjoyed a nice evening on the out door patio area, if there was to be a complaint, it would be that the bed was a bit to hard, other than that, it was a wonderful experience

My wife and I checked into the Elks Motel in July 2021. We were travelling through from Manitoba on a motorcycle trip. We had a great room with a great view and the room was absolutely spotless and clean and fresh smelling. The staff were very friendly to us and we even enjoyed a decent breakfast. Cant even think of a complaint we might of had. Very thankful to find accomodations like this. Would not hesitate staying at the Elks again.  Great experience.

Totally Impressed

I have stayed at the Elks Hotel every August long weekend for about 7 years. I have always had a pleasant experience until now. I will not return as these issues are unforgivable. I expected that the room would be extra clean & probably smell like Lysol as we are in a pandemic. Not so. Dirty & no effs given as to the cleanliness & presentation of room. Coffee pot had old grounds left in it, dirty dishes/cups & I woke up with a cluster of red bumps on my forehead, some sort of bite? I am very sad & disappointed as this is a yearly trip. I can not excuse this lack of cleanliness especially during a pandemic. Disgusting.

Very Disappointed

The roads were bad long story short we stopped in to be smart. The lady at the front was really nice...but we took a quick 2 second look in the room and looked ok. It was late and we were tired so grabbed the room. The room was so filthy once we got a better look. Hairs on the blankets and stains on side of the mattress. Stain drips all over the bathroom walls. Hair in the tub and on the towels. Beard stubble all over the bathroom sink.The glass cups were dirty we opted to drink out of the milk jug instead. Threw out the plastic cups cause there were brown stains all over them. Garbage and dirt in most places we looked after. The bedding was stained and hairy so we threw our own blanket overtop of theirs and I slept with no blanket and my lady in her Pjs with a small car throw blanket to toss back and forth. The room was freezing cold not even the heat on low for guests when they arrive. Then wake up in the morning after a snow storm and no shoveling the stairs or walk way were done this is by 11 am already it was slippery.

Winter Storm badso stopped for the night but so FILTHY

We stayed here twice this summer; on our way out to camping in the Okanagan, and on our way back. Not only did they have a small play area for our kids, but the room was clean, the kitchenette was really handy, and they remembered us and treated our whole family really well both times. The best part (for us) was that our daughter forgot her favourite stuffed animal the first night and then we got it back a week later when we stayed there again! We didn't realize she'd lost it at the hotel, so it was a real treat to get it back again.

Great motel for a family

Over the years we have stayed at the Elks Motel on our journeys across southern BC. What a shock this year to find the place so neglected. Our room was really needing attention. The kitchenette was filthy, the drawers and all the sparse utensils needed a wash. There were no dishcloths or tea towels to clean up after ourselves, should we have chosen to cook, but it was not appealing to try. 

We were checked in by a very sullen front desk clerk, with no invitation to the breakfast, wifi connection etc.
