Very comfy, cozy and warm. Suzanne is a very sweet and caring host, and her staff are the same. The resort is very secluded. We had our own private beach and the view is incredible. We were offered a delicious breakfast that felt like home. 

We stayed here for a week on the recommendation of our son.  We were not disappointed.  Although the resort is not cheap, it is worth every penny that you spend.  We stayed in a wonderful waterfront cottage.  It had all the amenities and was worth every penny.  We got to go wine tasting and ride the Kettle Valley Railway for a few days.  The best thing about this resort are the managers, Suzanne and Chris.  Suzanne went out of her way to ensure that we had a cabin, then a better cabin, then the best cabin!!  Thank you so much, Suzanne!  We are returning next July for the gran fondo, can't wait!!

We booked a last minute stay at Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort in June. The representative with whom we dealt (I believe her name was Chris), was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Both the property and the cabin we rented were immaculate.  I was travelling with my husband and 2 children and we had an amazing time. It was relaxing for us (we could just sit on our patio and look at the beautiful views) and fun for our children, who could walk out of our cabin and play on the beach and in the water. We had an amazing time there and we can't wait to return!

We had a lovely stay in one of the rooms at the lodge.  It is a great location.  I loved waking up to the beautiful lake and mountain view.  The private screened porch is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee before heading down to breakfast (which is included but only for lodge guests, not cabin guests).  Marcus skillfully prepared a lovely spread every morning and was so helpful with anything we needed.  The room is small-ish but has a mini-fridge, robes and coffee, everything to make it comfy.  

The property is EXTREMELY well maintained.  We enjoyed the canoe, pool, hot tub and just lounging near the lake.  But when we got off property it was a quick walk to rent some bikes or SUPs.  The nearby General Store was also the perfect place to grab some wine/beer and snacks.

Nearby Elephant Island winery is marvelous.  Lake Breeze Patio is not to be missed, the food is as lovely as the view.

The location and setting for this wonderful little lodge could not be any better. We stayed in the lodge because there were not any cabins available for our dates. Although our room was on the small side it was very clean, comfortable and the screened in balcony helped to make it feel more spacious. The view was nothing short of spectacular! We were very impressed with the cleanliness and extra touches of the lodge itself. Breakfast each morning was tasty. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Overall our stay at Sandy Beach was wonderful!


My husband and I just got back from staying at Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort and it was the perfect get away. We relaxed by the pool, sat by the lake and enjoyed some wine as the sun set. This property is so incredibly well maintained and the 2 managers are such hard working individuals who keep the resort looking perfect. We stayed in the guest rooms just above the lodge. The rooms have no A.C or TV/Phones but we are totally okay with that! The view was amazing. This resort has a mix of couples and families. Every morning we were served breakfast, which was delicious and fresh! We were only there for 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. We went out to dinner to the Hillside winery Bistro. The food and wine was very good!! There are so many places to check out around Naramata but because we were only there for 2 nights, we wanted to relax as much as possible and we took full advantage of the resort. We packed a small cooler with some beer, wine and snacks and it was perfect. Each day we would have a little picnic right on the beach. The room was very clean! The bed was comfortable. The room had a mini fridge which was super handy, coffee maker with coffee and actual cream in the fridge! None of that fake coffee creamer (yuck). They also supplied you with real wine glasses and plastic glasses to take outside or down to the pool. From check in to check out, everything was fantastic! We can't wait to go back. Enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend with my husband for our 10 year Anniversary. Marcus and Stephanie were fabulous hosts. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and we used their BBQ the last evening to cook up a nice meal. The room was well equipped so that we could fix a few snacks with ease. This is our second time at the resort and would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure to stay at Sandy Beach Resort in their off season in room 20 of the lodge. Marcus and Steph, the managers are the very best and the hardest workers. They made sure my stay was comfortable including extra bedding incase I was cold. They put me up in the guest suite with a king size bed to myself. It was heaven! 

I enjoyed each morning waking up to my private veranda and watching the various birds and took in the view. I love that they have no TVs in the rooms because it really helps you to relax and connect with nature. 

The place was sparkling clean and perfect for solo, couple or families. I love that it’s the only lake front accommodations in Naramata. Will definitely go again!

On the spur of the moment, booked Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort for three nights.  Marcus & Stephanie, the Resort Managers could not do enough to make our stay special at the lodge.  They were not only friendly & helpful but they made us feel at home in the lodge.  After wine-tasting at various wineries, it was nice to come back to the lodge and relax.  Each room had a water view & the breakfast was excellent. They are a great team.  Kudos to them.

A gem in the Okanagan!  My boyfriend and I have found our new oasis!  The owners are so kind and lovely.  The hotel and the grounds are so well-kept...you can tell there is a lot of pride that goes into all that they do.  The breakfast provided each morning was amazing and was different each day (omelette bar, pancakes, scrambled eggs).  We enjoyed the canoe, the tennis courts, (bring your own racquet in case the ones there are being used or damaged), the pool and hot tub.

We were here for an anniversary celebration. We stayed in the lodge and though the room was not particularly large, the closed in veranda with lake view made up for it. There are no telephones or TV but WIFI is strong. The breakfast each day was fantastic and the hardworking staff are wonderful and full of suggestions for local adventures.  The property is rustic and charming with lots of history. Naramata is a great area to use as a base for wine tasting. We had a very nice experience here.
