This cute motel is a great spot to stay when visiting les isles! Central location, comfy units with everything you need. The best part is the view out the back door to the ocean and of Entry Island! We sat on bench by the ocean every evening and had a glass of wine, soaking in the views and the ocean breeze! Stunning!

We couldn't get our car on the ferry so we brought our bikes and stayed 3 nights.  The rooms are fairly small and basic, with a sofa bed, double bed, full bathroom and kitchenette, but very adequate for 2 people and very clean.  It is right above a long beach on a quiet cove.  Try the lobster or crab roll at the lobster plant next door.  We discovered that there is a bike trail starting at a beach parking lot on the way to the town, so we could ride right into the centre of town without braving the busy main road.  There are a couple of good grocery stores and a great bakery (the Tim Hortons only takes drive-throughs and on-line orders, and the bakery is visible from the front of the Tim Hortons, so Tim Hortons loss was our gain!)  Only one gripe--the motel website says they have laundry but it is not open to motel guests.

Place is great. Well located. Clean. Nothing really bad to say except I found a dead bug in the sheets. Nothing major

Very lovely masionette! Beautiful view for your morning coffee or evening supper and very friendly owners. Very helpful in trying to speak English for us. It was easy to book online and we had no issues during our two night stay

We absolutely loved our rental house ‘maisonette’ as it had everything we needed. It had a master room with a double bed, a room with a single bed, and a sofa in the living room. A kitchen with fridge, kettle, coffeemaker, stove, oven, microwave, and everything needed for cooking plus a dinning table. With the IGA only just down the road it was wonderful to make a few of our own meals. 

The beach was in the backyard with wooden steps to access it. If you enjoy collecting sea-glass this was an ideal beach for that. There was also a BBQ near reception which everyone could us, a seating area, bocce court, and bonfire pit but we did not take advantage of any of it. 

Location was ideal as the road was calm and was just off the Main Street not far from the ferry terminal.

We came as a group of six ladies, three in each of our two rooms. The Motel was very clean and brightly decorated. Our host was helpful and accommodating. Tho the room looked small on entry, and it was tight with the fold out couch open  we had lots of space to gather together to play card games. We did not cook but the room was well stocked to do so. The beach was a treasure for finding sea glass. Overall a great experience and I look forward to returning

We had a wonderful 3 days at this Motel, it was very clean and close to everything in town. They were very accommodating when we got stuck on the island for an extra day. We had a group of 6 and shared 2 rooms. The rooms were bright and nicely decorated and had plenty of room despite how small they look at first. Great little kitchenette with just about anything you could need! Highly recommend this place!

Cute little room with all your basic needs. Has a double bed with pull out bed which are both comfortable. The view from the back deck is beautiful and you can hear the sound of waves from your room. Will recommend

Location, location, location! Waterfront and a small beach in a central location. These motel units have almost everything you need.  While the rooms are small, they are perfect for two people.  Well equipped kitchenette.  Luckily for us we were travelling with another couple and could borrow a large saucepan from their unit as ours only had small ones.  They even provide a few pouches of coffee.  

The view and being on a beach was great.  Walked the beach quite a few times and picked beach glass.  

When we first arrived we were disappointed that there were no windows facing the water but came to appreciate that when Post Tropical Storm showed up!  Building is well built as you could barely hear the roaring sea and the building shook very little.

Rolande, the housekeeper, was great.  We were in Unit 8.  Bed was very comfortable but the pillows are flat as pancakes!   Rolande was able to find us better ones.  

I would recommend that they invest in pillows and provide spare blankets in the room.  I speak French so I served as the translator for our group as the owner and Rolande’s  english is very limited.  

Would definitely return to this motel!

The Motel L'Archipel is located in a fantastic spot right on the ocean, only a few minutes south of Cap aux Meules. The views are beautiful, and there is a beach mere steps from your back door. Our room was nice and included a kitchenette, the only complaint being that there is one double bed and a pull out couch, which then leaves space at a premium. There is a   bocce court outside your back door overlooking the ocean which was fun. This spot is a great central location to explores the Iles, while still being away from the "commotion" of Cap aux Meules. I hope to be back one day.
