I visited this hotel in 2004, I couldn’t go that far back on the review. We wanted to experience an authentic and non tourist holiday to Bulgaria. We landed and saw Maria waiting for us, everyone else got on the coach and we had no idea what was about to happen as we travelled in the dusk light into a little town and dusty road! We had the best time. The hotel was clean, the views from our balcony were beautiful. Maria and her brother drove us into the town and picked us up. Maria had just opened the pool and we had some lovely days resting there. The food was good Maria provided. We enjoyed a trip into Varna and Nessebar. We went for local walks ( Maria taught me to always carry an umbrella, which I still do to this day!) The trip gave us a sense of peace and it was nice to be away from the rat race of home and tourist areas. I’m looking at visiting again with my daughter so she can experience the true Bulgaria
