8 reviewsLovely quiet location, excellent value. A little way out of the city at the foot of the Vitosha mountains but right next to a frequent bus service running into Sofia every 15 minutes or so. Great WiFi and cable TV with quite a few English language options. Here' s the idiots guide how to get there if you arrive by air.... If you arrive at Terminal 1, there is a free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 where the Metro starts. Take the yellow line to Serdica and then change to the blue line to Vitosha (end of the line). Get off Metro. You are now at the Paradise Center (shopping mall) Make sure you are on the main road looking up the road towards the Vitosha mountains. Paradise Mall is on your right and Mini showroom is on your left. Take the 98 bus all the way up to Villa Pontica. Use Google Maps to determine what stop. It's right there facing the road. Metro is 1.60 Lev and you can use your debit or credit card. Make sure you use a separate card for each person. Bus is also 1.60 and use a separate card for each person. PS. At the time of writing 1.60 Lev is about 72p. Outstanding! Villa supermarket down the road from Villa Pontica is also recommended. Check out The Cheese Box near Billa for nice coffee and cakes too
