The receptionist came in with a body odor and spantistic feet. The sheets were unchanged. I didn't have a towel until 3 hours after arriving. There is no breakfast despite the fact that I was charged (there is a breakfast fee). The room without heating and no ventilation. I think there are other better options for the same fare.

There is no vengeance!!!

Clean dormitories with private bathroom, very comfortable and quiet, plus good reception.The central sector of Uyuni is just steps from the bus and commercial terminal.As a suggestion, a more varied breakfast should be improved.

Good reception and rooms.

Stayed here for 1 night and that was enough. The rooms were basic and the showers were hot, however did wet the entire bathroom. The WiFi worked well. The rooms were not the cleanest, there were hairs in my bed. The breakfast was average with not much choice but that was expected. My biggest issue was we had some laundry done and when it was finally given back to us half of it was still wet meaning it was hard to pack it and I had to get it redone elsewhere. The staff were friendly however spoke no English so just be prepared if you speak no Spanish.

Would not stay again

This is a basic hotel that offers a portable heater in the room (which is great as it’s cold in Uyuni). The lamp was broken but the heater light was bright so balanced out.  There’s a small tv in the room and hotel offers a basic breakfast on the top floor. It did get noisy at night and the mornings especially when people were coming late back as they lock the reception doors and in the mornings but I was located by the stairs - I think if you were further in then you might not hear as much. I arranged an airport pick up as I arrived late in the evening (arranged the day before) but they forgot so I had to get a taxi. Lucky in Uyuni taxi have fixed rates of day time 10bob or 15bob at night to go to the city centre. Hostel is well located (there is a long corridor before you get to reception). There is a market on Thursdays which sells everything and close to the bus station. They don’t speak a lot of English here but they were nice and tried to be helpful. I booked my day trip to the Salt Flats here too which was reasonable.


Basic hotel that has heating! 

I had a good stay at this hotel! there is hot water, wifi, good location and free breakfast also the staff are really friendly! I completely recommend it for a few days visit.

I spent only one night in this simple hotel, but some things are easy to improve and would generate more comfort for guests.Positive points: Location, breakfast, and hot water shower.Negatives: dirty carpet and wall, shower without box or curtain (which covers the entire bathroom), uncomfortable and acoustic bed (you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms).

I suffered!

Hotel in the center of Uyuni, well located and at a good price. Easy access, with a key to come and go at any time, clean apartments and a good bathroom.

Excellent hotel in Uyuni

Very basic, cheap hotel. My room was not clean, there were lots of hair in the bathroom, the carpet was very dusty and there was trash left from the previous guest. However I was sick when I got there, so couldnt be bothered to change room. The shower only got lukewarm and left water all over the bathroom. Breakfast was fair, eggs and some fruit and white bread.

You get what you pay for

It's a hotel that has rooms with a private bathroom and breakfast included by 180 Bolivians for two people, we got there by the reviews of other tourists and agreed with the place, the rooms have carpet, cable TV, 220 v. The bathroom is unique, it has an electric and solar hot water system, the shower is in the same space as the toilet, there are no curtains or separate receptacles, so you literally bathe on the toilet, it's small but functional, the water falls by a drain, if all that doesn't bother you then ok.

Enough for a good rest.

El hotel Sancay is located in the village of Uyuni, in the shopping area a few meters away on foot. There are restaurants, craft shops, local products, souvenirs, and street fairs on Thursdays and Sundays. The breakfast has coffee, milk, varieties of tea, coca tea, yogurt, bread, local fruits. There is no restaurant. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are a little small, with shower. There is free Wi-Fi.
