Llama's House

First of all is clean. The staff is really helpful without being overwhelming. It has a friendly ambient, which I appreciated since I traveled alone. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that has a bohemian groove to it. There are many affordable and quality restaurants in less than a 15 minute walk. And you could get to almost every attraction by bus or cable. The cable station is like two blocks away.

We recently stayed in a private double room when visiting La Paz. The room was big and really comfy with great views and it felt clean and well kept. The hostel staff were so friendly, there's a kitchen to cook your own meals and the breakfast was great! It is a little out of the centre though.

Very friendly staff, nice and clean hostel. The breakfast is included. There is a travel agency in the house where you can easily book your next adventure in or around La Paz. highly recommendable! :)

Pirwa is located in a nice area in La Paz. The staff of the hostel is very friendly and helpful. It s no problem arriving there early in the morning. I stayed on the 8-bed dorm, which in my opinion is a bit small. For the rest there are no disadvantages. The place is clean and the breakfast, although portions are not big, is of good quality. Overall, I would recommend this place in La Paz.

Great hostel

We booked here on the basis that it had a good reputation in Peru, however we were disappointed with the facilities. The room was tiny and stuffed with unnecessary furniture and the world's largest and oldest TV. There was only one bathroom on our floor with a shower that worked intermittently and it wasn't particularly clean. There were also no curtains and the bathroom looks out over a roof terrace meaning there is little privacy. While we were there, it was also left without toilet paper for almost 24 hours even after we notified the member of staff at the front desk. The breakfast was not good, basically stale bread, yoghurt and cereal. On the up side, the staff were very helpful (outside of the loo roll incident) and very friendly, and the location was lovely. All in all though, you can get superior facilities and more space for less money elsewhere in La Paz.
