The hotel is really well located for business and leisure. The European Parliament in a 2 minute walk away and the Royal Palace 10 mins. Just to note on a Thursday evening most of the younger staff/interns meet for drinks on the roundabout outside of the Parliament. It's an awesome atmosphere and very welcome but extremely busy. NOTE: You do not hear noise from the hotel. Located a 5 minute walk from Trone/Troon metro the hotel is brilliant for those wanting to head in to the centre, although the metro is not necessary as the walk is much better. If you walk to GRAND PLACE from the hotel, you'll take in a number of sites such as the Royal Palace etc. The hotel itself is very nice and welcoming. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and very efficient. Big thank you to Elson at the bar for his charm and chats. As a Diamond Member with Marriot we had access to the club lounge with free drinks between 4-8pm and small buffet 6-8pm which was super tasty. The rooms, as you would expect were very nicely appointed, very large bed which was super comfortable and the most heavenly pillows. There is a very large fitness centre and pool here. This is open to non residents as well so has more of a feeling of a gym chain than hotel facility. It would be incredible if this were a spa instead. The gym/pool is probably in need of refurb now. At the bar you can get some fantastic cocktails and if you can't quite find what you want the bar team will be more than happy to oblige you. Great 4 nights!!!
