Sir, you like to go to the JT of RTL TVI. Very good, but... sorry I'll never go to a restaurant where a cook (you), face camera which is more, tastes his sauce with a spoon before putting it back from the pan.

Health and hygiene

It's a nice little restaurant, with a good price-quality ratio, quality products, small-minded boss and passionate about his work, I recommend the surprise menu, inspired by the chef.

What a wonderful discovery.

First family visit. We chose the menu of 3 services: entrance, dish, dessert. High quality products, super fresh and impeccable presentation. The boss introduced us to his own dishes, is very friendly and pleasant. Excellent quality report price! Really up to his reputation! I highly recommend and intend to return to it soon. The only disadvantage is the parking lots.

Stayed here in early Oct 2016 for 1 night and booked via a third party provider, the property is a 10 minute drive (Maximum) from Brussels Charleroi airport.

On arrival all external doors were locked and the place looked closed, I had to call the number on my booking confirmation, which was promptly answered by an English speaking guy who said he would come to open the door, 10 mins later I'm still stood there so I called him again, he said he was on his way, stupidly I had assumed he was actually in the hotel when in reality he was a 15 min drive away. On his arrival I had already been let in by chance, but he said that they were closed on Sunday evenings, which I didn't understand ???? Your guess is as good as mine.

Checked in OK in the very dimly lit bar area and had to pay up front (room fee €34.50 tourist tax of €2 + breakfast which I decided to take for €5.50ish - total €42). I had Room 6 which was a single room facing the main road (traffic noise not a problem) with shared bathroom located on the second floor and up some pretty steep stairs (not suitable for the elderly, infirm, those with limited mobility or wheel chair users - no lift - and no rooms on the ground floor).

The room itself had all the furniture you would expect, bed, bed side table, wardrobe, table and chair, TV (no English speaking channels) sink mirror pictures on the wall, but it just looked super super basic / bare.

The room / bedding were clean as was the shared bathroom (plenty of hot water), the heating in the room was good and the bed was firm, just the way I like it, but the pillow was about an inch thick and provided no comfort what so ever, ruining what I think would have otherwise been a good nights sleep.

Breakfast was poor: A few warm bread rolls, butter, jam a small glass of orange and a cup of coffee, no cheese or meat (salami etc) which is pretty standard across Europe for a continental breakfast.

The outside neighbourhood seemed a little questionable at night (I wouldn't let my wife walk around by herself), a few shops, kebab houses, a couple of bars and a "night club" (not sure what "night club" means in Belgium, but it's surrounded by a big red light, I'll let you make your mind up) are all located within a couple of hundred metres walk.

The whole place is super super basic and is definitely more of a hostel than a hotel. In my honest opinion It's not worth the nightly fee of €34, my wife and I have stayed in the centre of Paris in a better place in a double room with breakfast included for the same price it's not terrible but it's not average hence my rating of 2/5, I think that's fair. 



More of a Hostel than Hotel

The card offers a wide range of dishes. What to meet all requests. Pure net brooches were appreciated, as was the accompanying bearnaise. At the presentation level, I would refrain from pouring a generous spoonful of bearnaise on the brooch. The calf's kidney was cooked according to demand. The serving was quite right. On the other hand, the dijonnaise sauce was too salty. The tab was cut to me. Maybe to make new cooking!!! The meat and the sauce with the aloe were good. A classic, a couple of beemols.

We were there this evening 27-2-16 with a good group of friends for a menu of 4 services. Apéro foam with 4 hot mouths per person. Entrance is either parmesan croquet or goat leaf with its cruelty. Dishes consisting of either bourguignon melted or stoneware, which we chose and this at will. This was made up of chicken, beef, pork and duck meal the whole sealed, accompanied by a small salad and fried as well as 6 different sauces. As dessert either chocolate foam or tiramisu. We had a very good evening, the waiter was very nice it was a very nice house, only by turning around it was a very nice stoneware that we had in our hands, so if you're going to put your clothes on the table, you'll get to know our clothes and make sure you don't overwhelm your eyes.

This was definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my whole life. I got there on a cold winter night around 11:00 p.m. and the doors were closed. The hotel doesn't have a reception, the whole check-in is done in a restaurant that's located downstairs, and luckily a waitress opened the door for me. She didn't speak English and our communication was very difficult, she didn't want to let me in, but I showed the booking booking and my admission was allowed at a very high cost. I almost had to sleep on the street alone. The room is dirty, the quality of the bathroom is bad, at last, everything is horrible. The hotel is very strange, it looks like it's going into the room at any moment. I couldn't quite understand what it is, and I didn't get a very nice door, but I wasn't a serious one. I found someone to get in the hotel, and I was not even close to the door, and I was lucky enough to get a coffee table.

Worst hotel I've ever been to.

Basically, no one opened the door.

I've chosen that hotel by booking.com because it's close to the Charleroi Airport.

Getting there by taxi (15€), we have seen the hotel and restaurant signs on, however there weren't  any light on inthe rooms.

The doors were closed, but we decided to wait for a while in front of them. At a certain point a very friendly dog from the street approached us and his owner opened the hotel door, entered very quickly but when I tried to show him the reservation, he did shut the door on our faces yelling something in French.

I knocked for a while without any response. It was too late to book another hotel, therefore we had to go to sleep to the airport (taxi 20€).

A bathtub and shower are something! A bunch of bubbles of shampoo on the floor and shower bottom! In the room the bedding is thin, coated, of poor quality. The bed is old, screaming. In the room it's uncomfortable, although there's no smell (you're expecting some faint smell).

The worst hotel in 10 years.

A few weeks before I planned for holiday in Europe, I have book this hotel for a night on 24 July but later I changed my mind. I make a cancellation on 16 July in which it was a week before the exact date. So, I received the email from booking.com mentioned the cancellation has approved with zero charged. Then, after I backed from my holiday, I checked my account but there was something stranged when this hotel took my money for a night on 28 July. I called them but only the machine answer. I called booking.com 3 times, sent the bank statement for prove but until today I still waiting from them to reimburse my money back. I never never had any experience like this before. My question is, how this hotel can still alive? How they can still operate when there are a bad reputation. If I know I never book this hotel. So please this is a reminder to those who want to stay at this hotel.
