Hotel 'T Land Van Bornem

After a nice village tour in Bornem (Anvers province) with its beautiful houses and façades as well as its many shops and small shops, I went to the Land van Bornem restaurant where for an affordable price I was saturated (as well as my daughter and 4-year-old baby) with well-groomed, tasty and instantly made everywhere dishes.

It's a cozy, intimate, and nicely decorated Easter-themed restaurant.

Staying together in a vivabox The positive points: - Welcome and pleasant services - very good lunch (pistols, sandwiches, cakes, juices, hot drinks, egg on the plate and finishes) - good bedding - cleanliness The restaurant was basic... soup and dish of the day: tomato soup (piquant oops) and steaks on point (a little too much) The negative points: - Bathroom number 5:

The hotel was very poor and the restaurant was below zero !
I ordered grilled fish. After waiting for 1 hour I got 3 pieces of fish (not grilled) that were all cold. I complained to the waiter and he went back to the kitchen with it. 15 minutes later I got my plate back, but the fishes were less than halved. Back to the waiter that I didn't want to eat this for the same money. He assured me that this was the amount I had given him. I ordered cheese croquettes instead. After 15 minutes I received what I ordered but these were not the size I saw with a few other restaurant people. This time I didn't want to complain anymore and we ended up paying the bill without the fish. What I ultimately found the worst was that the waiter was very unfriendly and did not even apologize for what had happened.

Hotel was poor and e very bad restaurant

We have stayed in 't Land van Bornem for one night as we visited Tomorrowland. 

The hotel is located in a peacefull village in the centre of Bornem. The hotel itself is nice but don't expect a 5 star room. The staff we have met is almost a 5 star worth, they are very helpfull with everything you need. 

We had a 3 persons room in de top of the building. Our room had a double waterbed which was very comfortable, and a couch which was turned into a bed. The bathroom is a little small but had everything in it (no bathtub). 

We have stayed for just one night but as said before, it is a nice place to stay. 

Thanks to the staff who gave us lunch when we left and arranged us a taxi who brought us to Tomorrowland!

Good place to stay

We loved our stay at this quaint and charming hotel.  
owner Chris and her staff were so friendly and accommodating, we felt like we were family.  The food was amazing.  The Palm and wine selection was superb.  It's a short walk to the train station.  The market on Monday was very impressive.  We will be back!


Brussels world seafood show

This is your typical Belgian brasserie. It also has a hotel, but I did not stay there. I've been to the restaurant a couple times. Always for a quick snack or a coffee, never for an "extensive meal". The food I had in general was very good. Service absolutely friendly. Nice interior. Definitely worth a visit!

Above average snack

Cant speak much about the hotel, though the old fashioned, quaint setup is a treat to see, reminding us of the old movies.
Breakfast is simple, and presumably family run, so personalized attention is possible.
No complaints though. Opt for the superior room.

Simple Business Like, Quaint

Nice location in the middle of Bornem, but unfortunately there's a lot to eat, unloved and completely unpleasantly cooked, without taste, without refinement, without heart... at the prices and the beautiful ambiance I expected something completely different!

Restaurant yes Hotel no

We stayed at 4 in a nice room that actually consists of two small bedrooms1x2 and 2x1 and a bathroom, all three separated by a small hallway. Attentive staff, delicious meal, rich and varied breakfast. A little more attention to dust and burned bulbs wouldn't hurt, but I still recommend it.
