We stayed in Tanja’s Deluxe Apartment last March, and it was such a delight! We received a very warm welcome by Tanja; the luxurious appartment was very neat and tidy when we arrived with a fully equipped kitchen, sunny lounge area on our own terras and even a jaccuzi! Tanja is a great host and she was able to help us out with all our questions and specials needs. The area is also nice, surrounded by the mountains, with lots of nice restaurants to go to. We would totally recommend it.

We stayed here last summer and this winter, in 2 different appartments. Everything is just perfect and brand new. Location is also good towards to skilift and for non-skieers like me, there are enough opportunities to hike. Bread is delivered in the morning and the grocery store is not too far by foot (ask Tanja for the shortcut). Tanja thank you for the wonderful stay again, you can be so proud of what you have achieved! We will come back.

We are a family of 4 and have stayed at Appartementhaus Tanja for the last 3 ski seasons and have already booked to return next February.  The apartment is very well located being only a short walk to the Hartkaiserbahn in one direction or the centre of Ellmau, with its restaurants, bars and supermarkets, in the other.  The apartment is modern, clean and very well equipped with good sized bedrooms (which we have found you don't always get in ski resorts), high ceilings and a great shower with lots of hot water.  There is a boot room on the ground floor where you can store all your ski equipment and warm your boots so you are ready to hit the slopes warm and toasty.  There is also free wifi available (very important for those of us with teenagers!).
Tanja is wonderful, really helpful and genuinely wants you to have a great holiday.  Nothing is too much trouble and she is happy to help in any way she can, be that recommending a restaurant or where to hire your ski equipment.  You can also choose to have bread/croissants delivered to the apartment each morning in time for breakfast, which is an added bonus.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at Appartementhaus Tanja and the fact that we have booked to go back next year speaks volumes - highly recommend these apartments.

We stayed at Appartementhaus Tanja in February 2017 for our family ski holiday and it was such a wonderful place to stay. The view of the Wilder Kaiser from our balcony was amazing.

The house itself is only about 5 years old so everything is new and very clean. Our apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and had comfortable beds. Outside the apartment, we had a space to park our car which was undercover so no frozen car in the morning. 

The location is also great, only a short walk to the Hartkaiserbahn cable car or Ellmau village centre where you can find loads of really great bars and restaurants.

Our host, Tanja was also brilliant, very helpful and welcoming. Before I arrived, I was asking all sorts of questions such as restaurant recommendations, best ski huts to visit etc etc. which she happily replied with the information. During our stay, she was also great. 

During our week, we met some of the other families on holiday and staying at the house. I think all of them had stayed before and were back again because it was so nice. I'm sure we will do the same in the future and make a return visit, such a lovely place.

We had a fantastic time staying in Appartementhaus Tanja in February half term 2016 with our two boys, aged 8 and 5.  The apartment had everything you could possibly require and was in excellent condition throughout (showers were particularly nice after a hard day on the slopes).  Tanja was lovely and very helpful with tips on where to hire equipment and, more importantly, eat and drink.  Although on the edge of Ellmau village, it is a short walk to both the Ski Bus running up and down the main road and to the Hartkaiserbahn (main lift into the SkiWelt), so perfect.  It was our first trip to Ellmau, but we will be back as it has an excellent balance of charm, restaurants and bars and a fantastic ski school for the children.  Thanks Tanja.

I've just returned from my third year staying at Appartmenthaus Tanja and yet again we've had a wonderful time! The apartments themselves are fantastic, large (more akin to a flat in the UK), extremely comfortable, clean and stocked with everything you could need for a relaxed family holiday. If you get a north facing apartment you will also be treated to a spectacular view of the Wilderkaiser mountains (i've uploaded a photo)! Location wise you are a few minutes walk from both the  town as well as the main lift and the nursery slopes, no need for the ski bus! (top tip, get a locker at the Hartkaiserbahn so you can walk up in your shoes and leave your skis boots there to be warmed overnight!).

Tanja herself is lovely, very friendly and will take care of your every need, you can even have fresh bread/croissants etc. delivered to you each morning in time for breakfast.

We are already booked back for next year for our fourth stay in a row, we can't recommend these apartments highly enough!

We have stayed in this appartment with 2 adults and 4 children.  We enjoyed our stay very much.  The appartment is modern, clean and comfortable with enough parking places,   We enjoyed the "Brötchen" and the Nespresso coffee service   The view on the WildenKaiser is unique, the location is not far away of the Hartkaiserbahn and the centre and the service of the friendly owner is more than you expect.  We will definitely come back in 2015.
