I was there with my family on a ski vacation and the price/performance ratio is perfectly fine. Our apartment was large, had 2 bathrooms and even a guest bathroom, which was very pleasant. The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful and even offer to arrange things when they are travelling themselves. Only the location of the Freya house can be a challenge if you want to go in a ski lift, which is not far away, but it is difficult to walk (go up, go down), but for that there are spiders on the elevator. Yes, everything is really recommended!

There's not much to be done.

Six weeks before entry, you can no longer cancel, even though vaccination rules have changed in Austria and now six out of eight are considered unvaccinated.

The Commission

Everything from booking to checkout was just great! The apartment was large, spacious, clean and perfectly furnished. Karl and his wife were very friendly, hardworking and made everything possible for us! The location of the apartment is also splendid! All in all, it was the perfect ski-opening weekend. We were 7 girls and can only recommend this apartment from the bottom of my heart.

Perfect skiing weekend.

The apartment for 4 adults was large enough and very clean. The equipment was fine. There was a bread service and the contact was very nice. The accommodation itself earned 5*. However, the road to the air is quite steep and yet further than expected, especially in ski boots. And the price is a little exaggerated, even for skiers. Therefore, a total of 4*.

It's a nice apartment.

We've already been to Upper Tauern for the second time this season and will book these apartments again and again when we travel back to Upper Tauern. We've been very satisfied twice. It's all you need. In the first year we even had a washing machine in the apartment. We like that there are also two bathrooms plus a guest toilet in the apartments for 4 people. The road to the Greenwald Head Railway is not far and there is a bike rack. The apartment was very clean on arrival. The staff is very friendly when checking in and out.

Beautiful large & modern holiday home with good location

The ideal holiday apartment for a family of four - recently renovated, spacious and bright. 6 people are comfortable in 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Two bathrooms and toilets make a bathroom jam a foreign word. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa and a large dining table where the whole family can sit. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave and washing machine and extensive dishes. Even New Year's Eve glasses were there. Booking by email and payment by credit card were both unproblematic. Check-in and check-out at the reception stoneadler were uncomplicated and each of the five minutes we were happy to come back from the next winter.

Successful skiing holiday

The app was amazing, and we could have a kind of white Christmas, fortunately we had some snow in the village. The app is well equipped, clean, comfortable, and the bath is just amazing: huge, it is fantastic after skiing.
The reception belonging to the app is also fantastic: the receptionists speak English very well, and they are really gentlemen.

Huge, comfortable residence with nice view to the mountain

We were at the Freja Apartments for the first time for a week. The staff at the Steinadler Hotel welcomed and treated us very kindly. All our wishes were fulfilled. The apartments are very kindly cut and well equipped and have all the wool. The ski clerk has enough facilities to dry his shoes and even a washing machine. There is also a deep garage to keep the car nice dry.

Super ski holiday in the Freja Apartments

We stayed at Freja this past December and January for a 3 week period.  Lovely spacious and neat apartment - it was great having 3 bathrooms.  Great location for skiing and close to bus stop to go grocery shopping.  Loved the daily bread service.
Christian at Reception really went beyond duty for us and even organised a washing machine by the super spacious ski-room for us. Would definitely consider renting the unit again in the future.

Skiing Holiday for two Families

March/April 2015 - Great apartment, we rented a 6 person apartment and there was plenty of room.  Clean and comfortable beds, big kitchen area.  Very comfortable.  You can ski back to within 50m of the apartment, and if you're lucky with the snow you can ski all the way back, and down the road 300m to the lift.  Ignore any reviews from more than 6 months ago, Freja Apartments are now managed by the excellent staff at Steinadler who gave us the impression that they would help with anything we needed (everything was great so we had no need of anything extra).

The supermarket in Obertauern is not vey good.  If you are driving stop at the Billa in Untertauern on the way up and save yourself the hassle of using the Spa in Obertauern.
