We were very satisfied with the hotel/pension. Rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view. Unfortunately only breakfast but breakfast was good and plentiful. Very good for Halltown is the hotel/pension has its own parking space. Location: near the lower station to the Salt World.

Good Relaxation

We stayed two nights here as part of our hiking vacation in Salzkammergut. We had a large and comfortable room and the host was very friendly. The breakfast was good too.

The hotel is maybe 10 minutes walk from the center of Hallstatt. It is very conveniently located for visits to Salzwelten Hallstatt, the salt mines.

Very comfortable stay in Hallstatt

Excellent owner, we arrived on a motorcycle late at night, it was raining, he drove us downtown in his car and found us the restaurant where we could eat, very clean hotel, bar, air conditioning, plenty of breakfast, very close to downtown.

It's fabulous.

Pleasure · Excellent location 5 minutes from Hallstadt Centre. Modern and clean rooms, although the house itself is older. Very good beds and very quiet environment. We slept well. Breakfast was solid and the host was constantly active and refilling and disinfecting handles and straps. WiFi was quite fast. Didn't like · The host didn't rent the kindness. He was quite sober.

It's a great place, a great room, a surprise.

As the name suggests, it's just a boarding house for guests booked in the house. The host is very friendly and helpful. The host has good tips for all kinds of leisure design. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Very large breakfast buffet. Super price performance.

Just a pension

One of the unknown gems of Austria and Europe, we loved our stay in Hallstatt from the people to the salt mine tours to the lake tours to the absolute beauty. Hotel choices are good but need to be sure to have a reservation before going.

Wonderful Stop

Perfect location. with free parking. comfortable beds and everything clean. night hotel in December 100 euros, best price de los del pueblo.con desyuno included. El desyuno very acceptable. I recommend it, no luxuries but full of surplus function. get out of the room before 10.30 and you'll be allowed to park the car for free all morning the next day.

The Pension Gruner Anger is just off the main street in Hallstatt:  very close to the Salt Mine funicular, 5 minutes from the lake, a 10-15 minute walk to the classic view of Hallstatt.  
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Great Breakfast.  Traditional European fare, along with hot items such as eggs and bacon.

It's a great, very cozy and clean hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the funicular to the salt mines, with its own small patio and parking lot, great breakfast!

A great vacation in a fabulous place.

This is a privately owned  and the owner is absolutely arrogant to the customers. We had a terrible experience, we couldn’t check in at this hotel as the property was locked when we arrived with no instructions on how to enter the room and without any email from the owner. When we called him he was downright arrogant and didn’t make any arrangements for us to enter the property. the worst experience on our first night in Austria. Will never visit again.
