Pension Waldesruh

We stayed at a ground floor room in December for 4 days. Booked directly through email at a price of €126 per night for a triple room with breakfast. A bit on the higher side but all prices are sky high these days. Location of the Pension is just opposite the Katrin cable car station so very convenient for that. Car parking is free just outside the room. A car is required for Bad Ischl to get around and see the surrounding little towns of Bad Goisern, Dachstein West, Hallstatt etc. I highly recommend to see these 3 towns. Breakfast was nice in the morning with boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, breads, ham, cheese, fruit etc. A good way to start the day. Hosts were lovely and helpful - Cecilia and Laurent. Wifi was very good. Room had 3 beds and very comfortable. But there is no fridge in the room so this may be a problem in summer? There was no electric kettle, and they gave us 1 on request. An electric kettle should ideally be available in each room so this needs to be looked at. Rooms are cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. I can highly recommend a stay at Waldesruh, get the ground floor room, get your own car and you will enjoy your stay.
