This has got to be one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I'm not sure if the older reviews here were prior to a makeover, but I found my room modern, comfortable & clean. The bed is probably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. The well equipped kitchenette in the room was an unexpected bonus. The place was clean and the staff were excellent. The need for a $300 bond up front is unusual, but in chatting with them they have had damage and smoking issues so felt they needed this approach; it is located in a somewhat lower socio-economic area on the very fringe of Melbourne, so I guess that can happen. Very quiet and peaceful with great access to Werribee, RAAF Museum etc. and very easy to get to the M1.
