The location is very good near shops beach.But this time very dissapointed at the condition of room no wardrobe only two forks between five of us no spare pillows.reception never open have to ring someone.dont think I'd stay again if I had another choice.

Not what I had expected as I'd stayed here before

Stayed for two nights whilst having a weekend away. Accommodation was basic but of an acceptable standard. Pool was lovely. Room was quiet even though we saw people going up to the appartments above. Close to everything. Good air-con. The only con was the curtain was a bit grubby and there was a couple of small marks on the walls that could have been wiped off.

Family weekend in Mandurah

Checkin was incredibly easy with property texting details to obtain key and map, within a lock box (office isn’t open at certain times). Communication with the property was a quick text message away, which was amazing when any queries popped up. The room we stayed in (25) appeared clean and tidy, towels and linen were clean. there was a double bed, bunk bed, single bed and a single trundle. 2 small 2 seater couches in the lounge/tv area which would be comfortable for a family of 4 maximum. kitchen was well equipped to cook. Loved that this property had somewhere secure to park the boat. Outdoor Pool and Spa was great- this area really MAKES this hotel. location is great, close to IGA and short walk to Dolphin Quay. This hotel is a hidden gem, very affordable for families. A very relaxed feel, don’t go there expecting the Ritz, it’s certainly not modern and definitely could use a facelift in areas. But it is clean and tidy and has everything you’ll need for a self contained stay. 

Room is advertised as sleeping 6 on booking.com. I would suggest sleeps 2 adults and 4 SMALL children. Not teenage children, as the bunk bed only seems strong enough to have a smaller child sleep on. Also the trundle is an inch off the floor, with an extremely thin foam mattress and no place in the bedroom to roll it out to. 

This is the second time we have stayed here & we’d be happy to return. The affordable price keeps us coming back and the fact it’s self contained, suitable for families. I only wish the beds were more comfortable and the kids beds were actual single beds, not flimsy bunk beds that don’t accommodate teenage kids.

I received a call yesterday 13/12/2021 from the resort, that the booking I had made for over New Year some time ago was a privately owned villa  and that the owner now wanted his villa back. The resort had no other accommodation to offer me and didn't try to help in anyway. I am a single parent who works full time with a disabled child - we look forward to our Mandurah trip every year - and now we have mothing. Everywhere is booked out. Very disappointed that the resort allows owners to do this. Merry Christmas to them NOT

Would not recommend staying here.
The unit we stayed in had an awful odour, dirty furniture,  cigarette butts in the sand  from previous occupants. 
Had to flush the toilet more than once , poorly positioned shower head, uncomfortable beds and tenants in the above unit with loud foul mouths.
Left a night early it was that bad.
Gave the feedback to management and asked for a refund.  Was pretty much accused of lying because the guests after me gave good feedback. ( well of course, they finally cleaned the unit obviously)
Never had to cut short a stay anywhere but this unit was terrible and went home a night early

The villas have all items you might need and the kids loved the upstairs loft area! Lots of maintenance to small items in the villa like broken remotes that need attending to. Overall cleanliness was average and beds were adequately comfortable.

The biggest problem was how noise travels in and around from neighboring villas - it was very loud and with two young kids made bed time very difficult- but that’s a structural matter I suppose?

We will definitely use the villa again and overall the stay was pleasant and enjoyable especially with the heated small pool feature and trampoline area which were a hit! Plus we are nice and close to the foreshore!

Enjoyable stay

This is our second visit and it’s perfect for families. We stay under an AIR BNB but we love the pool area including spa. Tennis and basketball available  as also a playground and BBQ facilities. Only a few minutes from the beach and a short still to Dolphin Quay and the foreshore. The place is not 5 star but it’s everything we expected and hoped for.


Fantastic Family Getaway

I booked this accommodation as a weekend getaway. I was looking forward to my spa room, lounging by the pool and avoiding general life. This property was disappointing. The customer service was poor, almost non-existent to be honest. The grounds were tidy but run down. My villa needed maintenance on more than a few levels. Really not the weekend I wanted or deserved.

Facilities for the kids were fabulous as was the free bbq and daily newspaper but unit #62 was disappointing. Bathroom and bedroom doors have clunky knobs which wake everyone up when turned and doors squeak. One bedroom door was impossible to close as the bunk bed frame was too wide and in the way. Outside security lights shine into the rooms leaving them rather bright for sleep (blockout blinds needed or change location of lights). The shower door handle was missing. Both bedrooms dusty. One bedroom with bunks had base sheet put on only and I had to finish making the beds! No oven trays available making it impossible to cook the frozen chips I had bought. What is the point of an oven if you can’t use it? I would only stay here again if I could be assured all these issues are rectified. 

Rooms need maintenance 

This family resort suited our needs perfectly. We were a family of 15 Adults and 3 kids so required 6 villas between us. We enjoyed the pool, spa and bbq areas and the short walk to the beach. The villas, surrounded by well kept gardens were all similar, a little tired but clean and serviceable for our needs with a decent price. We will be going back next year for another stay. Thanks Anne for your help with booking us all together and sorting out the bbq that required some maintenance.
