Betta Camp

A perfect oasis in the Namib Desert.  Was a one night stopover before beginning a tour.  Was nice to have a warm shower, comfortable bed and aircon!!!

Accommodation and staff were beyond expectation!!!

Great stay, can highly recommend. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Will book again. Can highly recommend.

Betta Camp was the perfect place to stop after seeing Sousousvlei. It had everything that we needed - a clean lovely chalets, friendly helpful staff and a visit from the most friendly dogs! We booked the Mountain camp but were upgraded to the main camp at no extra cost because Jomari thought it was a little cold to have an outside bathroom - Much appreciated! I would definitely recommend stopping off here.

We have stayed there a few times, it's very reasonable, comfortable beds, with crispy white sheets.
Good ablution Block with hot water. Restaurant near by. Good stop before heading to South Africa.

Nice chalets to stop by with small irrigated grass at each one. The oryx antelopes could be seen from platform at the edge of the camp. Food served on request.Basic supplies can be bought at a small shop. Overall recommeded

It’s a very nice campspot near the road between Helmeringhausen and Seariem.
There are 4 places with absolut privacy. Especially the platform for shadow and to watch the sundown is a perfect idea. There is also the best sanitary building we had on our whole trip through Namibia (5500 km, 22 nights). 

We really were suprised at the facilities, the service abd the comfort we experienced at Beta. The take away food was amazing, our chalet was so comfortable. The made the donkey at 5:30 so that we can have warm water.

We loved our camp, it was the perfect place! The camp are well main, the food was very good, and the views were amazing! We would have stayed another night if our schedule allowed it. One nice bit about the camp is the raised platform that each one has

Wonderful little place in the middle of the beautiful desert. Just stayed a night to break up the big drive, but wish I had stayed longer. Hot showers, nice picnic table, and the sleeping platform was comfy even in a tent. 

Amazing food - I've never seen such a big steak! Great, friendly and attentive service.  Rooms and beds were awesome - super comfortable and warm enough at night.The lookout deck is lovely for sundowners, great memories made up there! Thank you

A great stay at Betta Camp

Very nice camp

We stayed at one of the self-catering chalets at Betta as a stopover on our trip through southern Namibia. The location is beautiful, and the place has everything you need (kiosk, food, gas station, etc.). The staff was very friendly and professional. The catering facilities of the chalet did not include a water boiler for coffee/tea, which didn't bother us but might be helpful to note. The bathroom is also not separated from the beds by a door. As a couple, we weren't that bothered, but in a different constellation, I could imagine that might get awkward. Overall, we would stay again.

Good stopover between destinations

Chanced upon this place while driving from Luderitz to Sesriem.  We wanted a lunch stop and was recommended this place by someone we luckily found at a foundry nearby. Small restaurant with a Petrol station,camp site and chalets. Ordered food from the   Cafe  and someone helped deflate our tyres there as well. Food was quick and tasty. Was surprised to find veggie options a well. Restrooms were very clean and a real find on a weary road to Sesriem.

My cheapest accommodation in Namibia, but definitely better than some of the more expensive ones. My expectations were exceeded and the sleeping comfort was very high. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

 I don't really like free-roaming dogs. Tethered and out of my reach and my plate, I much prefer dogs.

Inexpensive and exceeded expectations

Betta Camp was beautiful.  You do feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with the most gorgeous sunset.  The rooms were very clean and tidy.  I did miss a small fridge for cooling as the rooms are self-catering.  All in all a wonderful experience.  A huge breakfast is included which were delicious and tastefully presented.  Lovely, friendly staff.
