I was in a group of 15 langlaufers from UK, in Oberhof to ski in the DKB SportsHalle. I was in a spacious Double room for Single use, with 2 armchairs, table & chair; Flat-screen TV (size was 102 or 107cm I think); comfortable bed; Thick curtains kept out the light! (though it was never that sunny so may be different in Summer); Compact Bathroom (shower cubicle, toilet & small sink) but big enough. Spacious wardrobe. Plenty of lighting controllable from bedside switch as well as wall switches. My room was at the back away from the road and was very quiet. Food: I was in an organised group of 15 at half-board. EVENING meal had soup starter and a choice of 3 main courses (chosen at breakfast). BREAKFAST: choice of 3 cereals plus good, wide buffet selection of usual yoghurts, jams, honey, fruit juices, cheeses & meats, different types of bread and rolls, etc. Coffee good. Plenty of off-road car-parking space. For skiers intending to use the DKB SportsHalle, the hotel is a very short drive away (2-3 minutes) and for extra fitness training can be run in about 4-5 minutes (I run 10km in 50 minutes) or walked in about 10 minutes. I've given 5-stars but would deduct 1/2 for the Wi-fi (free) - it was very weak/slow: for example, when trying to check-in for return flight, connection "dropped" several times, so I had to use mobile network in the end (cost = only 3 euros for 500mb per day, but still...).
