I have just spent two nights in Lavamund where the locals were so friendly and I ended up having the best couple of nights for a long, long time. Elizabeth was the manager of the Post Hostel and she was very welcoming and friendly ensuring that I could phone her if I needed anything. A great place to stay for backpackers and anyone who just needs a good nights sleep.
