We stayed in the Dragon fly for the weekend.Pail and Adam were very good hosts.We had two evening meals which were excellent as was breakfast.rooms were clean and tidy .it was a five minute walk to the North shore pier and 10 mins from the station

Very good food and service

We stayed at Dragon fly for 3 nights in jan. I cannot complain about the room at all. There was a warm shower, comfy bed, mini fridge, ok wifi, aircon and tv with English channels. It is right across from the beach and although it doesn't have a pool we were able to pay one of the resorts across the street $5 each to use their pool for the day. As a guesthouse, you really can't go wrong for $15/night. Restaurant was decent too. 

Our real issue was with the man who checked us in. It wasn't clear if he was the manager, but when he checked us in he was extremely pushy for us to book tours and our bus to Dalat with him. We felt a bit pressured and ended up booking both with him. The tour itself was fine, the bus was a whole other story. 

We had arrived to Mui Ne using Fhuong trang bus lines and it was a dream! We asked him to book us the same company and he told us that this company does not drive to Dalat because the roads are small and require smaller busses. We ended up sitting through 5 hours of what can only be described as off roading. It was a decrepit, broken bus with the most uncomfortable seats, which left us both in pain.  When we arrived in Dalat we passed a massive Fhuong Trang bus station with 20+ busses and it was quite obvious that he had ripped us off- charging coach bus prices to profit the difference. 

Lesson to be learned- happily book your room with them. You won't be disappointed. When they start to push the tours and bookings, tell them you already have something booked!   

Don't book your bus with them!!

The most annoying thing about this place was when in came to paying she charged me 630,000 dong - which was obviously the standard price for 2 nights. Then her boss came over and said we booked through a website - which i knew - and so the room was actually 1,050,000. Although i expected this amount they had obviously ripped us off.

The TV didn't work, there were no bikes as promised to get around, they didn't have a map so we spent a while finding out where we were in relation to other things. There English was extremely limited.

It was also quite a way from the main backpacker area, where bars are, but some nice restaurants nearby.

Overpriced, no facilities.

The staff seem very lethargic and made us feel like we shouldn't be there. They don't speak english so well which was difficult too. 

They have two dogs that bark at the slightest movement, so through the night your lucky to get a solid sleep. The dogs even stole our shoes and left them around the garden! 

On check out we asked to leave our bags until our bus came. We had to leave them in the restaurant, very unsecure, while we went on our tour. They were not pleased that we were leaving our bags.

Rooms were spacious and quite clean. Some good restaurants near by.

Miserable staff and naughty dogs!

The rooms were OK but a bit dirty. They were sizable though. It was the service that ruined the place. The owner started out friendly but as soon as he had our money all the friendliness stopped and he turned into a very unpleasant person. The owner was unrelenting in trying to sell us everything when we told him we had no interest. He became aggressive when we turned down his tour offers. We had the power go out on us, and they constantly lied to us, telling us that we would have the power back on soon when they really had no idea and should have simply told us so. Their attached restaurant was mediocre.
