To Vo Hue Hostel

We had the best stay at this hostel, we really loved it here and Hannah and King Kong were great. We felt very at home and enjoyed our stay very much. It had a gorgeous view for breakfast and the food was very tasty.

BEST PLACE EVER

Very friendly and fun staff, laid-back backpacker vibe, great location in an alley just outside the city center, so not too touristy and with some great local places around. Very social place with communal dinner, interior with lots of wood. The house bulldog Gon is a star.

The place to meet people

The Tigon Hostel has long since gone. It doesn't exist anymore, since about August of 2017, even though it still shows up on some booking sites.    
It has been taken over by a new management team, it has been refurbished and is now called The Dreamers Hostel. 

Doesn't exist

This hostel was a great find. A perfect location as in the centre of the new town near many shops and restaurants, and the area felt safe and clean. The hostel was very clean, beds were comfy, and staff were very helpful. It was not in any way a party hostel, and is not the place for you if you want to meet people. However, it's relaxing hotel-like vibe was a pleasant break from the hectic travelling through big cities. Breakfast was cheap (under 1 USD) and was tasty and filling. 

My one qualm was that we booked an airport through the hostel and we were fairly ripped off with the money the hostel took from us when they arranged payment - I would advise hailing a taxi by metre for any journeys instead.

Overall, I would definitely return and would recommend it for all friends and family looking for good value and good quality.

Brilliant value and relaxing backpacker experience

In their adverticing they said buffet breakfast was included but it is not. The price isn't much but they did not hold true to their booking info.

Also, It was too dirty. The worst part, is that they keep your passport without even telling you!! This is not allowed.

They played around acting like they are looking for it for over 30 mins. It wasn't until we complained that she opened a purse that contained everyone's passport. 

Fake advertising

Myself and four other friends had a great time at this hostel. The staff gave us great recommendations for food and activities, and they set up our bus to Hoi An. Everyone was so friendly. The location was perfect, near the bars and restaurants but just far enough to be able to get away from the craziness and noise. One of my friends was even able to practice yoga on the balcony every morning.

Great Stay for a Group of Friends

We arrived at this hostel late at night and we just wanted to get our room that we had booked before. The whole process felt like an eternity, and after we paid, we were told that the private room that we had paid for five minutes before was not available. So I really wondered why I had to pay for it all until then. Then we were told that a best dorm was free and we could sleep there. Since it was late and we were tired, we agreed and miraculously refunded the dollar that we had paid more. But after we paid our next one early. We wanted to make the exit right away because we had planned to leave Hue. After checking out the penny room and starting to pay on a minute basis and selling tickets, we were able to pay a discounted price for the entire hostel. We finally made a check-in, and we were able to check-in, and finally we had a discounted price for the entire hostel. Unfriendly and incompetent people

The hotel is fine, clean and has a good breakfast, although it is not included in the price.What we really didn't like was that the receptionists repeatedly tried to sell us tours.It seemed that they were interested in our well-being and so on, but it gave us the feeling that their only intention was to sell us tours, even if we told them that we didn't want to and that we were tired, to the point of burdening ourselves.

It's not that bad.

We enjoyed our short stay in Tigon. This inn is well-equipped and very clean. The beds are not very comfortable, but still not bad for Vietnam (there is much worse elsewhere). The common room on the ground floor offers something to have fun on rainy days (guitar, pool table, computers, TV) and the menu is very inexpensive!

Nice hostel, very quiet

The hotel is fine for its price if you leave the cockroach in our bathroom. (That's why only 3 stars) The girls at the reception are trying to put pressure on us by withholding two passports so that we have to borrow a scooter from them... Then we refused to give both passports and they got through with it too. They gave us bad advice and with a friendly smile claimed they would give us a good price. But they don't. DO ALL OUT!!!!! (deliver clothes outside, borrow scooters, book tours...)
