Skygon Hostel

I'm not sure why it's called a hotel on tripadvisor but it's a hostel and is called as such on every other site so I just want to make that clear so that your expectations are realistic. I had booked a private room due to all of my camera equipment and supplies I was travelling with so that part is the one I'll be reviewing. I just wanted to start off by saying that the staff and owner are simply amazing here. They were very nice and even exchanged some money for me without charging me anything as well as allowing me to check in early due to having to check out from the previous location at noon. The rooms are in a high rise tower so the views are absolutely amazing and you are able to see a very large portion of the city and normally you would never be able to get these views from this price point. The room was extremely clean, the A/C worked well and the atmosphere was very welcoming. One of the small downsides is that the elevators for minimal and sometimes, the wait can be a few minutes if they are busy. Since this is in a high rise tower, there is parking underground which saves you from having to park elsewhere. The location is fantastic because it is literally a block away from an entire street of street food and is a wonderful place to explore on foot and get some great cheap food and drinks.
