Hung's Homestay

Hung's Homestay is excellent. Really acommodating and nice. We cooked dinners with the house staff, and went visiting around with Mr Hung. He is amazing and sings really well!!!
Near Cai Rang Floating Market, The University and the Greenhouses. Big Theme park just behind it and a Wonderfull Temple, where we visited and were invited so stay and eat.
Vietnam is just an amazing place with amazing people. You just cant go wrong.

We stayed here as part of an arranged tour from Saigon to the Mekong delta. Staying here was the best part of the whole trip. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and Tao was brilliant! Loved learning to make pancakes! Very peaceful and enjoyed watching the jumping chipmunks!

This homestay was the best! Hung receive us  with arms open, he was a great host. We ended up here because of a 2d/1n tour in Delta Mekong, and it was one of the highlight of the tour. The cooking, the stories, the easy conversation, the Bingo! The food was local  quit a lot and really good! Great way to meet some other travellers and local people. The staying was confortable, the place beautiful and dreamy. We recomend for those who are looking for being in more contact with the place and still have some confort.

We got here through an agency and didn't expect such a nice place. The food was very tasty! The family is super super friendly and open, you can have great conversations with them, specialy with Tao. They also have four dogs here and they are so lovely and sweet. If you are in this area and want to make a homestay, I reccomend this place <3

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at 'Hung's Homestay'. The owner, Hung, is extremely friendly and a wonderful host. He ensured that we felt very welcome, and was fantastic company. We settled into our Bungalow - which was fairly humble, but has everything you need for a 1 night stay. In beautiful surrounds with the canal/creek running in and around the bungalows - the mosquito nets were great. The dinner was really lovely, we got to share in the cooking of our meals, and had a great conversation with Hung over dinner. After dinner, we sang some Kareoke, which was hilarious. Hung respected that we were tired and so we had a nice early night. There was only a small group of us staying, so it was very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend bringing ear plugs though, as the animals can be a little bit noisy (rooster crows in the morning!) and insect repellent. Highly recommend this experience over staying in the city of Can To - much more relaxing and authentic.

Stayed here as part of a 2 day 1 night tour in the Mekong Delta. Had such a great time, amazing food and entertainment - cooking class, bingo and karaoke. Comfy beds and mosquito nets provided. The host was lovely and took us to the early morning local market before our tour of the floating market. Would recommend, we loved our stay here! 

A really friendly host family, which also spreaks good English. Really great food. Simple, but clean bungalow with own toilet and nice terrace with river view in front. We enjoyed our two night stay there very much!

We had a great sleep-over at Hung homestay. The room is comfortable and we love the peace in the garden before jumping on the boat and head to the floatinf market nearby. The dinner is so good and we are happy to hear Hung's family story

Nice place to stay for a night to embrace the viet culture! Very basic rooms but all the necessities... bed, mosquito netting, small bathroom with cold shower, toilet and sink. Everyone working there was very kind and we enjoyed helping them with dinner. The boat ride into the floating markets was a great experience too :)  Added bonus was all the adorable little puppies running around

My friends and I stayed here as part of a tour from HCMC. This is a really awesome option. The family who runs it is so friendly! There are tons of cute and sweet dogs and puppies, which I loved. Hammocks to chill in, and little tables outside the rooms. The rooms are basic but fine - mosquito nets provided, and clean sheets. Hand-held cold-water shower, which does the trick. The dinner we had (fish rolled up in rice paper, which we assembled ourselves) was delicious, as was the "happy water" we had afterwards. Beer and sodas are available for purchase. The breakfast was bread with some cheese spread and jam, so don't expect too much there. There was even WiFi. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxing, Fun and Awesome Homestay!

So much fun! 

We stayed here one night as part of a group tour and am glad we did. 
Once we had settled in to our bungalow... basic but cute and clean... we were given a class on making our own spring rolls, cooked and ate them with a delicious dinner.  The host was so friendly, speaks good English and yes, he does encourage you to Play card games, party and karaoke :) and will do anything for you he can. 
Off the beaten track but I loved the charm of the bungalows backing onto the river too.

We stayed here as part of a Mekong tour, so wasn’t aware of any details prior to booking other than home stay. Was a little disappointed that it’s quite a large ‘homestay’ more like a small hotel! The rooms had the basics; a bed, mosquito Net, bathroom with toilet and hand held cold shower. Dinner was a family style meal, and it started with the group making their own spring rolls. The meal was enjoyable and tasty. Breakfast was bread and omelettes

Super place to stay in Can Tho

I had a fantastic home stay here at Hungs!! :-) Travelling solo, I booked the Mekong Delta 2 days 1 night tour with homestay with TNK Travel (who were amazing too!), I didn’t really know what to expect!!! What an amazing experience! 
Hung was very welcoming, and I had a private hut room just next to the kitchen. 
You have a private shower no hot water but that’s all part of the experience! The grounds of the homestay are absolutely beautiful! Fab food, great fun with all the other travellers in evening playing cards and cheap beer in the communal area. You can relax in the hammocks too. The cooking was super fun, tasted amazing and Hung is hilarious. Simple but fine breakfast and coffee/tea also included in morning before setting off on the boat! 
Would Defo recommend!!!
