Sadly the hotel went to public hands many years ago and the money injection for improving things stopped. The hotel lacks many things like fast service, nice rooms and clean spaces. Hope in the future will return to private hands that improved the current state. The only good thing I could say is that the shows presented here tends to be really nice, despite beign small rooms.

The hotel seems better days

Although the facilities are spacious and the view is very pleasant, the hotel has deteriorated due to evidence of lack of maintenance.The hotel is worth restoring because the infrastructure is good.

Very nice surroundings and extensive facilities.

The facilities accuse El Paso of the weather and the typical disregard of the Venezuelan public administration.There is not a single corner of this hotel that does not show deterioration or that is not far from the stars it claims to have.The breakfast is terrible, of very poor quality.The rich Venezuelan cuisine does not exist here.I do not recommend it in the least.

En franca decadencia is the name given to the decadence of France.

The hotel is full of problems: deteriorating rooms, smell of humidity, bathrooms and shame (horrible) they don't have hot water, air conditioners don't work well in the rooms; and in the rest of the hotel there are not even ventilators.. the hotel spaces are abandoned and there is a lack of toilets. the restaurant is virtually without food to offer. The only good thing I can contribute is that the staff tries to be friendly and work with the nails.

Hotel venetur Maturin, its best days are over, now has poor maintenance, no deep maintenance. Upon arrival, carry my own suitcases to the reception desk for not having staff, then the person simply handed me the key, of the three elevators only one works for the 7 floors that is slow, assumed carrying the suitcases up to the first floor, the carpet is exhausted, and the lock is working irregularly for use, surprisingly the bed was not made, visit the gym and the only camper is damaged. The TV is of the old generation and has no control. The main conference room carpet is out of order, old and has black holes. The bathroom is not for ladies. There is no water, no bathroom in the floor, the key was not connected to the gym, and the carpet is partially damaged. The carpet is free of sugar, but the carpet can be repaired, the carpet is free of foam, but the carpet is not damaged.

The experience could have been better, the pool needs constant maintenance as some areas were neglected, the menu at the time I went was not very varied, however the food was very good, the rest needs improvement.

It's a nice place, but it needs work.

Great hotel with great food, service and common areas. The location is perfect 2 of the most important shopping plaza just at walking distance. On one of the most important/busy avenue of the city. The braserie restaurant has amazing fresh cuts of meat, poultry and seafood. Best place to have dinner.

Have stayed many places in Venezuela, stayed here last week for one night as a last resort, as my preferred hotel was fully booked
in a reasonably safe compound with security as you drive in (sometimes) reception is as you would expect.(slow) the room was old, very old with grotty stained carpets, the bedding was old.
The bathroom was clean but again very old and both the bath and sink were black due to enamel loss.not the best.
Its ok for one night.
The breakfast was actually very good by Venezuelan standards offering quite a bit of variety for all.
The staff were friendly and helpful. didn't use the pool or other facilities. Reception bathrooms were horrendous.

last resort

We stayed here for 3 nights for a Rotary Club conference. The check-in and check-out took at least 45 minutes for each, and we were the only ones checking out at that moment. The bathrooms were moldy, the wooden doors chipped at the bottom, or water-damaged where not chipped. The shower curtains were not long enough to keep the water from splashing out onto the bathroom floor and flooding it.The noise level in the hallways was deafening, lots of teenagers also were at the hotel for a kung-fu tournament, with no adult control at all, so they screamed, ran, and played music in the hallways almost all night. Hotel staff did little to control the noise after we called them a few times.

Used the public bathrooms while attending the conference, they were not maintained very well, dirty, toliets broken/unusable, some were full of crap and not flushed, etc.

Would absolutely never go back!

Terrible rooms, bathrooms moldy

We were on a trip to this hotel as a base for the airport, going back and forth, because it's conventional with so many tour operators because of the huge flow of people we saw in the hotel, uncomfortable not to finish, from rooms that were unbooked to unprecedented dirt in the rooms, claustrophobic, expensive and poor quality breakfast.
